I want a Mayfeld spin-off series, where he just drifts around in space and yells at traffic while helping out people.
And from time to time,, they should show his „Zip Reeeecrutah“ adds
Petition to make Mayfield a regular on Mandalorian..
[Replaces Cara Dune]
@@cake_118 I'll sign!!
I love that cackle at the end. That's some vintage Burr.
"Spaghetti western in space" is possibly the best description of the original Star Wars. It has all the tropes... gunfire, lone strangers dodging the lawmen, kids looking up to dangerous figures, not to mention the aesthetic. I wish Disney figured that sooner.
It’s the easiest description of the beginning of the film, but it isn’t something that can truly describe Star Wars. This is the reason why The Mandalorian doesn’t work for me.
Nostalgia is already an addictive substance, and all they’re doing up to now is selling the idea of a Star Wars that Stoppard existing as A New Hope was being produced
@@TheFlash-rh2el yeah I’m not gonna pretend it’s a masterpiece but just the fact that it’s not complete ass works well enough for me
@@coastalalpaca852 Yep, at this stage, we'll all settle for adequate.
@@FatNorthernBigot yup, that’s why fallen order was so well received.
Yes. And episode 1,2 and 3 are inspired by peplum (Sword-and-sandal) think about it, lots of politics, people in robes walking and talking slowly through big beautiful temples, the senate, the arenas... I mean. It's ancient Rome in a far far away galaxy.
Bill Burr looks so uninterested while Rob talks 😂
I love that there's a Boston in space, there needs to be more unique localized accents.
Apparently Boston's streets are really confusing and European-styled, so imagine Coruscant but with the cars crashing into each other at some crazy intersection where 24 roads come together and some 'Masshole' getting out and screaming obscenities at some alien
@@Awakeningspirit20 Boston has good transit to make up for it. Unfortunately not enough people ride it. I have been to Chicago, Boston and NYC. Out of the three only one seems to not utilize their great transit.
The way it's explained in universe is that Shyriiwook (Wookie speak) is learnable from an understand-ability standpoint, but can't be spoken by 99% of species that aren't Wookie, but very few of those species can speak it in even a barely understandable capacity. Han Solo is thereby Chewbacca's pet regardless of the life debt, due to his ability to communicate and dictate a course of action.
I could never get behind Star Wars lore. It all seems like it was filled in after the fact unlike GOT or LOTR.
@@bigcityclipz7033 GOT was written by the seat of the pants anyway. Tolkien was more of a mastermind author. Lucas is a "Oh wait I said/did that?" type creator.
It's Billy Booze Bags!
@@RickR69 he has. But he's still Billy Booze Bags from the Block.
EY LOOK OL' BILLY BUM FACE!
It’s good ole billy bigshot from now on
Dude didn't even let Bill finish what he was saying to interrupt with his story.
Yeah Lowe is a lot like Whitney Cummings in that respect.
@@mavfan1
In a lot of respects
Rob really shined in Parks & Rec.,had never seen that funny side, still laugh when I watch, & ole Billy “big tears “Burr, Mandalorian ,definitely a solid show👍🏻
Im completely sold on Migs Mayfeld, his performance in season 2 was just fantastic. I hope he comes back for more
I did security on the 2nd season, & Bill Burr is an AWESOME actor. I was impressed with the way he held himself during that whole thing. We used to talk about drums & John Bonham between takes. He "kinda" remembered me from when he opened up for "Queens Of The Stone Age", when they had a warm-up gig for a tour they were about to do overseas, & I was the security for him backstage, making sure no one bothered him while he was in the green room. His wife was actually cool enough to take a picture of us. He's definitely friendlier NOW, than he was back when I met him in 2015. I think it's the sobriety, truth be told.
I will never forget standing in line for a Rams game to enter the coliseum all hyped. I was high fiving people around me. I turn to the right of me and who is right next to me? Rob effin low. Number two in the flesh. I was pretty stoked lol
Yeah, Jon Favro and Dave Filoni really know what the intention and heart behind the original film was and that is why the Mandalorian works so well. Because it feels nostalgic and new at the same time and rings all the bells of why we loved Star Wars to begin with.
Bill's appearance made me tune into Mandalorian, Not disappointed one bit!
Bill really needs to know how much Star Wars fans loved his performance in that episode.
Bill burr today: Star Wars is awesome!
Bill burr tomorrow: I never liked it.
We love him today and well love him tomorrow 😁😆
Hes been saying he never got into it for a long time now. He even use to have a bit making fun of it saying how when he was growing up he thought it was for needs lol
tremendous upload Team Coco. I killed that thumbs up on your video. Maintain up the outstanding work.
Favreau and Filoni really get it and are clearly big fans like Bill said (which is why it's doing so well). The Mandalorian actually feels like Star Wars for the first time in years. Hope we get more Mayfield in the future!
They are RIDICULOUSLY obsessed with Star Wars, especially Filoni.
Mayfeld's story arc in just 2 episodes of that show is better written than the whole godawful sequel "trilogy", and I put the word "trilogy" in quotes because I wouldn't exactly call it that.
A lot of the stuff people hated about the new trilogy are things that no Star wars movie would stand up to the scrutiny of.
I wasn't a super fan of them but understood the way they were trying to tell the story and it was at least at face value entertaining.
but considering the entire series started because one frugal gunman wouldn't shoot on a escape pod because he didn't detect life signs in an era just after a war where droids were heavily used in espionage it's fair to let certain things go for the sake of the story lol.
@@musiclaboratory9694 Palpatine comes back to life with no explanation, the escape pod thing isn’t even a problem or plot hole
@@randalthekidd7006 well he doesn't come back to life because what we're discovering is that he didn't actually die. The escape pod with the droids in it in the very first released installment of the Star wars Enterprise is a massive plot hole that is largely laughed about within the community of fans...
@@randalthekidd7006 I realize people did not like the new trilogy and I'm no super fan but I also am not glaring at it through my meta knowledge goggles either.
We need to get Bill Burr at Star Wars Celebration that would break the internet
there really is a Boston out there in space, though
It’s boassten
Bill Burr, Rob Lowe: Hollywood Royalty.
I like your Boston accent .....keep up the good work.
Awesome!
Nobody questions why the imperials speak with British accents and 2 Jedi were speaking with a Irish accent
Bill Burr needs to be cast as Guy Gardner for Green Lantern.
Yoo where my mission hill crowd at?!
I love Bill butter bean Burr.
Spaghetti Western/Samurai
I want to know where Space Boston is.
Miss Jordan Schlansky
Good ol' Billy Boston accent
Wow, it's so weird to hear Bill Burr praise something, especially something popular. 😂
Bill Burr does appear on TV a lot for someone who thinks he has been canceled .
He also does a ton of podcasts for someone who claims to be anti-social. Lol.
Bill the Man burr❤️
I don't follow this, but isn't there other accents in there? Like an English accent for example?
GET IN THE CAAAH!
How can u tell a spaghetti western from a western? Isnt it called a spaghetti western bc the director is Italian?
Originally yeah but now that's just the name for that style, doesnt have to be an Italian. But yes there were a lot of Italian directors initially and that's where the name cams from
@@harrisonhusk6377 then if the meaning has changed how do ppl know it’s a spaghetti western?
@@Michaelengelmann honestly I'm not entirely sure, I believe a spaghetti western just has more action whereas just a western is more of a drama
@@harrisonhusk6377 they were made in Italy. Simple as that.
We dont have accents Bill , the rest of the country does
I thought rob low only films himself with underage grils
HUH..NERDS
Star wars and Star trek are both spaghetti Westerns in essence.
I don't think Star wars merits much of an explanation it's kind of obvious and with Star trek it's like supposed to be this advanced civilization of humans that are very very dominantly peaceful but they still carry "six guns" on their hip? Lol
Truue that!
@@JohnCrichton I didn't say the federation wasn't peaceful, I said Star trek was a spaghetti western...
@@musiclaboratory9694 Star Trek TOS was a Navy drama (a type of TV show that was common in the 50s and 60s) set in The Twilight Zone (a revolutionary show at the time of Star Treks creation). What distinguishes a spaghetti western from a mere western is that it was shot in Spain by Italian film makers on a low budget and had a grim take on life in the old west, with the hero being a pragmatic survivor, who, in the course of events, ends up doing the right thing, rather than a ethical idealist who perseveres against the odds. Star Trek had none of that. Learning is fun!
@@DangerAce okay so yes Star trek wasn't shot in Spain on a lower budget which is what the "spaghetti" part is meant to stand for but everything after that was you just describing a traditional Western. Gene Roddenberry himself described the series as a "spaghetti western in space" so I guess you should take your argument up with him?
Bill Burr is hilarious. His enraging the wokie woke crowd makes him even more hilarious.
And his support of BLM enrages the other side.
@@miker.9138 it’s passive support as a business decision, if Bill actually cared it would be different.
@@randalthekidd7006 Keep telling yourself that.
Booo bill burr. Apathy isn't funny.
This is worse than nothing!
Mandalorian is utter garbage compared to Firefly.
Yeah well one got renewed
Burr's accent comes from the shitty part of space. #ginacarano
