To be fair unless it's sports, food/drink, family or Aussie pride we generally don't care much.
Within reason. If it's just casual shitting around, no problem. You act serious about slurring at people, then it's a problem. It's the case with swearing too. You just piss-fartin' around, swear all you like, but when you get serious with it, then people aren't laughing anymore. The intent and way it's said matters.

As an Aussie born OL girl of 65, I have both wog parents. Some of us wogs are ok!😂. I'm all Australian as far as I'm concerned and proud of my wog heritage. It's why they loved their adopted country. Because we CAN say whatever we want. Where they were from, is like what your country is becoming, I'm afraid. We love how we are. Diverse, multi cultural, multi religion and all totally equal as far as humour goes. We can take the piss out of everybody equally!!!!❤

Well known rule of comedy: don’t punch down. Lesser known tightrope of comedy: treat EVERYONE the same all in the one show.
Equality, best used to make fun of everyone equally so no one feels left out when you talk shit about them.
Every week in the US, the Bill of Rights is ignored thousands of times resulting in lawsuits or false arrest or both. In Australia, we have no bill of rights and it matters not a bit. We say pretty much what we like and do whatever we like within reason without penalty. Now which country is the land of the free and the home of the lucky fucker?😃

There are still a few countries in the world, even in 2024, that are mature enough to understand humour and accept that people have differing views and also the right to express those views. If there are some people that are 'offended' by humour, they have that right. What they don't have the right to do is try and stop others from enjoying their own right to freedom of speech. America has lost that freedom, but maybe in the next 4 years they can get it back. Let's hope.

You probably don't know but wog was a slang word in Australia usually for a greek, italian or maltese person, usually an immigrant. Not used so much these days because of pc. Generally speaking I think most Australians couldn't care about PC. Some of this I would consider beyond the pail but the purpose is generally to raise awareness about how some of this PC has become ridiculous ... and because he just wanted to take the piss.
Wog was only a generic term used to describe anyone not English. My German mate used to call his Italian neighbour a wog and he got called a kraut back.

Reminds me of when I got picked up by the cops as I was going to uni In my 1967 Hillman They said “There’s a hole in the car floor under the pedals!” And I said “yeah mate it lets out the water”. He also didn’t like the car door held closed with a butterfly bolt and a block of wood. Or the battery tied in with hay string. Or the pools of oil around the motor. I did say I put more in every day. He was a good cop had a laugh and told me to take it home and NOT drive it again. Yeah I didn’t drive it again. I sold it.😂. Only in Australia, the lucky country.
