Kim Seokjin did not just say that his vocals aren’t emotional.... I did not spend hours crying over his solo songs, for him to slander his voice like that

There’s not one singer in this galaxy that will think they have the best voice. As a singer, I know I can sing but will always try to find something bad and even though other will say “I think it’s beautiful” to me there’s always room for improvement. So even though we know he has a great voice, he in his beautiful head is thinking there’s always room for improvement 😍😍

I always cry whenever seokjin doesn't realize his worth. He should acknowledge that he is as talented as the other members. His voice not being powerful? Seokjin's voice impacts me the most in BTS, and never fails to make me emotional. When he doesn't realize the effect he has on ARMY, and how precious he is for everyone, it really hurts me. Seokjin, like you tell us we are all precious, you are as well. Please, do not put yourself down like that. It hurts us ARMYs a lot.
Its because people constantly remind him, make comments about his lack of talent among the members, which is sooooo infuriating as he is so full of talents and potential. It makes me had that theres people that think so low of him when he has done nothing else but be great and try his hardest at earning our love and respect.

I always say this but I feel the most for this lovely alpaca. He is everything I love in a human being, so kind and humble. Really wish I could give him a huge hug and tell him how talented and beautiful he is inside and out! 💜 People need to move on from the past, seriously. Bc nowadays he’s the only one that has consistently been stable and outstanding in terms of vocals. I don’t remember the last time he has ever slipped or was short of perfection. Know your worth, Seokjin!!

All of Jin’s solo songs are my absolute favorites. He’s a vocal king and I wish he got the recognition and respect he deserves. I really hope he releases his own mixtape one day because I know it would be fire! I will support him always and forever 💜

Two things i realized from this interview:
- Jin highly underestimates his worth which saddens me to no end.
- Namjoon plays a fundamental part in the group aside from being the leader and a rapper... How he was mentioned during everyone's interview proved it.
Jin`s voice has really emotional, I love his.

How Jin sees himself is probably because of other people's view of him too, may it be a joke or banter, he probably takes things to heart unknowingly. Like one member said, "we could do without him", joke or not, it can make you question your own ability. We really don't know what goes behind the scenes, and how far these jokes goes but I've seen clips where he's been undermined (e.g. his dancing, creations, and his voice, like it doesn't fit the genre etc.) repeatedly by members and producers. Armys gets angry when other people joke about bts members but if it is member to member, it is funny and savage?

Word!! What you said. His genius level brain he's been blessed with combines with RM's caring, kind, humble, generosity of spirit & his hard working, determined nature to turn out magic in his lyrics.
You can't write lyrics that touch humanity at the core, like Namjoon does, or lyrics that express universally felt topics through a very personal lens with unique style without FIRST having had the depth & intelligence to have been thinking about those subjects & how they effect him.
I suspect his mind never stops thinking. Even in his sleep, I bet that brain is at it, unraveling each day's dialogue & dissecting the events of each day trying to unearth & glean some worthwhile message to share via his lyrics, some deeper meaning for everything that happens.
His genius lies in his ability & willingness to openly, honestly examine & then speak on so many thoughts & feelings. Before him, the surface of most of those subjects had only been scratched. I find he often says what others won't or at least haven't said publicly, like "You can't stop me loving myself", lyrics the world has now joined in to sing with BTS (once that song "Idol" came out.)

It's weird to think that Jin has no idea how emotional his voice is. Seriously. Abyss is one of the deepest songs I have ever heard, it reflects so well the feelings that ruled him at the time and it makes you really want to run to change everything that is making him feel that way.

I hope we'll be able to reach him with a lot of encouragement without using negative words. This is reason why everyone should stop saying he is underrated, his talent is not appreciated enough, because these reinforce the wrong ideas. Look at how offended we are of his own words for himself because that's not how we think at all. NOT AT ALL. It's time the tired jokes and shallow compliments take a back seat and we give meaningful insights to how you we see him as the artist with the voice that have taken a great part in our healing.

Jin is too humble. I've often noticed that he doesn't talk much about exactly how much effort he puts into lyrics (like he's created for so many songs that he doesn't talk about) and he thinks his voice is simple and clean, and not powerful. Boiiii, are we listening to the same voice?! LOL this man is a vocal powerhouse and the most stable! I think he has the highest high note range!

I think Seokjin hasn’t been reading their own critics made by music experts where they completely praise him and his vocals. members of the Grammy panel called his voice “silver voice” bc of his stable vocals and breath control!! also his solo song ‘Moon’ was named as one of the “Greatest Boyband Songs of All Time” by Rolling Stones, getting the #5 spot out of 75. and these are just some of achievements and praises towards Jin, there’s a million more and i wish he could see it

Yeah really, how he sounded on MTV Unplugged the other night shows how he just continues to sound better and better. I absolutely loved (and teared up) when he sang "Fix You". The part when he, Jimin and RM did that harmony was just perfection!!

Hobi actually seems a bit shy when he's being interviewed by Tae and that's not how I usually think about him. He's very sincere and modest for someone who lights up the stage and the room.
Yeah. He seemed so humbled by tae's compliments. He's very grounded and passionate about his work
I think Jhope more subdue and serious in person. Very disciplined from what members said always on time with anything needed. He has a very clear sense in the type of musics he wants to produce and in his personal style.
I think he just cannot handle attention, like loving attention from people close to him. Often times he is even oblivious of fondness of other members towards him 💜💜
He sometimes get nervous at other interviews too, but it's less noticeable because there's 7 of them

Jin has probably the most emotional voice, the most recent example being in their "Fix You" cover. Like when I first heard Abyss, I didn't know what it was about yet as an international fan, but I felt that it was a sad and melancholic song and started tearing up. I think Jin's acting background contributed to him being able to deliver emotions while singing, something like he acts through his singing. On that note, I hope we can still see Actor Jin one day

I agree with you and disagree with him, he totally has an emotional and powerful voice! Every time I see him perform, he puts his all into his singing, so much his neck vein pops out. That isn't just a passive, "doing what I'm told." He really tries and brings so much raw emotion and power. I am always blown away by him.

Jin’s voice is the most emotional out of the entire vocal line. He’s voice carries so much emotion and depth. It’s powerful. I hate how he sees himself and his immense talent. His voice is great. One must keep in mind this is a man who has never had training or any background in singing and had to learn when he joined BTS. The growth and talent. Jin you truly have an amazing voice.
I couldn't agree more. It's just sad that over the years, Jin still doesn't think of his improvement. He always thought of his capabilities as " just okay ". While there is nothing wrong with being okay, as a Seokjinnie you could practically see how he belittles himself when it comes to music-maybe it dancing or singing, and it's just painful.
I agree Jin definitely conveys emotion the best out of all the members, just listening to how he sang the high note in Fix You really showcases that.

I believe we should appreciate Namjoon's contribution in all this. Almost all the members mentioned him, how he had helped them in each song. It was amazing how despite of his busy schedule, he sent the lyrics for the first verse of Jimin's Christmas Love, so Jimin was encouraged to work on it again. And I love how he appreciates and supports the ideas other members come up with.
His perspective on song production was really deep, and I like how he was very comfortable and confident about what he was talking, he didn't take time to answer anything, it's like he is living in it.
He was so chill when talking with Yoongi's interview too, despite their style is very different from each other...Like Namjoon build his song around a key word while Yoongi starts with the beat...
And how he was being modest about his contribution in everything. Thankfully Jimin revealed it when he said he only played a very small part. And he was being modest in admitting he couldn't grasp Tae's emotion in Blue & Grey, that's why his lyrics weren't chosen.
Wish him the best in his future plans for music...Especially on the idea he has to create music for people to listen on a ride with friends...

What Jimin said was "Well you know Jin is a bit immature" and it appears that Namjoon missed what Jimin said and asked "Who was it?" and Jimin replied, "It's him (the one I mentioned), the eldest (맏내라고)" and Namjoon said "Ah, Jungkook." and Jimin repeated that he said "matnae" (meaning eldest) not "maknae" (막내-meaning youngest). Namjoon then said "Ah, Jin."... So idk why they translated it like that in the video but that's not what was said in Korean.
I feel like Jin’s vocals are very honest because of his “straightforwardness” . You can tell what he’s feeling or what he’s trying to express. I think he has fantastic vocals and a very unique voice. His was the first that I recognized when I started listening to BTS

Everyone keeps saying that kim seokjin is an extroverted who is very confident about himself but when you watch this you can see how shy and insecure he actually is. Look at him talking about his voice is not emotinal or strong. Boys once said he has the highest vocal, if you listen songs like epiphany, dionysus or awake you can really hear that. And i think his voice is the most emotinal one and its like such a populer opinion, i’m shocked he didn’t think about it that way. He doesn’t get so many lines but when he gets as much as the others he always shines. Just listen abyys, best of me, spring day, the truth untold... you will get what i’m saying. I’m so sorry that he improved so much that he became an actual skilled vocal and he is still insecure about it... Grammys called him silver voice for gods sake...

It all the outside negative talk that had been pushed on him. It stucked....although he used it to elevate himself...it still doesn't have the full confidence....he is not used to compliments and don't believe it.
No offense no hate to anyone it's just my opinion unfair line distribution in most of the bts songs makes him feel so insecure about his vocal capabilities.. Even though his voice is so emotional & powerful or maybe his solo songs take a little longer time to be on top in comparison to others & there is huge difference which anyone can see between his & other members solos in terms of views ,streams & I think its pretty obvious if you are constantly being mistreated that way you'll also think like that..

This is what I thought too, I love all the 7 of them, they are all my favourite but Namjoon holds a special place to my heart, he's the first reason why I became an army. I like how honest Jin is in his interview. He doesn’t claim or try to force upon himself to be creative or poetic. He’s open about how he does need help from others and that sometimes he needs to be guided then from there he’ll do his best. Yes, but in my opinion Jin has a unique voice he is different from the others .. every time I listen to the song I feel calm and can feel what he feels & express in the song .. His voice is soft, it feels like hearing the voice of an angel, especially when you hear Epiphany's song and his new song Abyss's. His voice is really unique and I think if he has many parts in a song & shows his golden voice more, I'm sure people who will regret underestimating her voice .. The rest, Jin & BTS have worked hard, army is proud of them, they are tireless and keep trying, I even got a lot of motivation from them
People who underestimate their voice, it's because they haven't heard all their songs in their entirety & they are just insulting and looking from one side according to their thoughts..even though they don't necessarily have golden voices like Jin and BTS members
