I'm so glad you took Lindy in straight away. I got RSV pneumonia about 7 years ago & was very ill in hospital (I'm a medically vulnerable adult). It's horrendous if it's not treated before it becomes pneumonia. I really hope Lindy recovers quickly.
Gosh, how frightening. Seeing Lindy’s laboured breathing brought back memories of having a serious chest infection & being hospitalised, as I had asthma attacks that needed nebuliser treatments every 30 minutes through the day / night & I was also on oxygen. Bless her heart. Hope she’d fully better soon xx

I completely sympathize with the lack of sleep in the hospital with it being loud. I had a hysterectomy last winter and they kept me overnight on the maternity ward. There was this poor woman who was in labor for what seemed like all night and she was just yelling and screaming the entire time. My nurses kept telling me to sleep and get some rest, but it was absolutely impossible. I was up all night. I understand, though. I've had two babies and it's no easy task, as we both know. I was just worried about that woman and was hoping she'd be alright. She was, thankfully. She finally had that baby :)
Anyway, I hope you're able to get some decent rest and that everyone is feeling better and doing well soon!

Poor little sweetie!!! Praying she heals quickly. The hospital is definitely where she needs to be -- good job for getting her right in for the care she needs. ( I just spent 5 days in hospital and now home on 02. -- yes, even adults can get RSV!)

I had RSV about three weeks ago i’m a teenager so for me it was more like a cold, but I know she’ll get through it she’ll be OK

Praying for a quick recovery/release from hospital Lindy. Praying the rest of family don't get it. Sleep when kids sleep mom/dad. All my kids and most of grandkids ha e had it.
My son was sick with rsv. He has asthma. We were in the hospital for over a week. Don't rush it you want her to feel better. Best wishes she is adorable 😍💕

I can't believe the chair I have spent a lot of time in hospital and I have never seen anything like that. Please don't leave your daughters side. So sad ask for an harm chair.

The reason RSV has hit so badly this year is because of the pandemic we put our children in isolation for 2 yrs sheltering them from everything including each other and children need to be around other children to build up their immunity. Both of you will be ok you can see your doctors after your daughter gets home. I was admitted into the hospital for Covid pneumonia and spent 24 hrs in the er waiting for a bed.

That is a lot they child have a disabled and if they get sick they family takes care of them or they take them to the hospital

I'm so sorry that Lindy has RSV. My 5th child & 3rd boy (@ the time), was diagnosed with RSV @ 17 days old. He was so sick but there was no room @ the hospital with all the sick newborns, babies & children so they sent us home! They sent us home with 7 different meds & some type of breathing machine. This was 26 years ago so I don't remember. I was so angry & so scared, but we got through it 10 days later. My son ended up having childhood asthma because of it, but he's all good now as an adult in the Marines.

We did three weeks in the hospital with RSV when my little brother with Downs was tiny. The rest of my family was extremely sick... And I didn't get it at the time. I am a lot more concerned about RSV than Covid, quite honestly. It's rough.

Poor baby we to have been dealing with this my grandson was born very premature ( at 25 weeks) he 4 now. My daughter took him to the ER on a Mon he was diagnosed with RSV and pneumonia in left lung and dehydrated put an IV in they wanted to admit him but there were no beds so they sent him home with antibiotics 4 days later back at the ER again now pneumonia and both lungs change his antibiotics sent him home. He hasnt eaten in a week very little fuilds the cough never stops he so sick it so frustrating, and scary.prayers for your baby girl and to all these kids that r suffering with this.🙏
My sister has been hospitalized 2 before with rsv once for a week and a half and another time for like a week. It can take awhile

You might not have a soft comfy chair, but atleast the hospital has a bed for your daughter, although its ER, its better than a hallway. Glad your little girl is healing

Temp are actually a good thing. I don't know why everyone thinks there bad
They’re good for fighting infection but only to a point. They can be hazardous if they’re too high for too long, especially in young kids. Fever reducing medicine like Tylenol doesn’t get rid of the fever completely and just lowers it so it’s fine and good to use when your kid is displaying that much discomfort.
RSV Cough last a long time after the virus is gone
That mask touching is defeating the object.
