Tomtoc is doing great things. I own their 40l backpack and their 6l sling bag that i love. Im using right now alpaka bravo since i upgraded from the tomtoc sling but now im tempted to get this. Always love this company and this new bag shows they listen to their customers
I got the cordura version because i love the blue interior and the reasonable price. If the X-Pac version were available with the blue interior, I would be all over it. I'm not really a fan of the orange.
Great video and great description of all the stuff that you carry I really appreciate it. I am legally blind, and cannot see what the bag looks like. I felt like you described everything very well, other than the fact, I had to get somebody to look at the bag because I like bags that sits like on my waist, horizontal, not perpendicular. More like a man purse style.
Great video as always. Just picked up this sling and waiting on delivery. Didn't go for the X-pac version though. Would you consider doing straight comparison videos with other similiar size slings. I always watch reviews on slings and pouches but always wonder how they directly compare with other similiar size items, especially when you move same gear from one sling/pouch to another. Thanks again.
Do you have a problem with the plastic rotating connectors "creeking" a lot? It happens when I've got something a little heavier (water bottle, tablet) in the bag
Nice video, would you say the x-pac feels a bit more premium? I'm planning on getting this bad but I'm not sure which version I should get. Your input would be appreciated
@@alphaartisan I agree I would rather pay more $$ for the water repellency those are one of the pros I like about the x pac material because just like the above comment I was trying to decide which to get but after watching your video I’ve made my choice
@@jaredharris1970 How water repellant is it really if the seams inside are not taped? Rain water pools on top gets in from the seams rather than the zipper?
I got both atm and I have to say that the X-Pac actually feels cheaper because of the material. Feels "plastic" while the cordura is a really smooth touch. Went for a longer walk in the rain with my cordura version to test water resistance and had no problems whatsoever. It was normal rain, nothing too strong. Had the sling filled with kitchen towels which stayed perfectly dry. Therefore I am going to return the X-Pac version.
Looks huge: height could be slightly less, depth seems good but the length is too long. Wished it was 10 inches long. I'm not a tech nerd. I travel and day hike. I carry water bottle, rain jacket or vest, canon point and shoot, and small items like hand sanitizer, pen light etc.

Great company for tech protection.
Very good review and nice comparison with older version. I was considering this one for BF deals.

I feel that.
The xpac is double the price for me so I guess I will go with normal

Great video...VERY informative, helped me make my decision on which one to go with. Easy call to drop that extra 20$ on the X-PAC

Thank you, I think a sling comparison would be a good idea and I have a few others to tomare them too.
Too many tangents into reviewing other products. Just review the bag!
Thank you for the feedback.
new here.. ths slings look neat and tidy.
Dope video 🎥💯👌🏼
Thank you🤙🏽

Great video !!! ❤❤❤ This is definitely a great looking sling. Just subbed. 🎉 2:48
The x pac version looks great they should have put a reflective zipper pull subtle reflective bits on the strap and a hidden pocket for a AirTag
I agree with all of the points that you made here and I’ll forward them to Tomtoc as suggestions, as always thank you for your feedback

Put everything together if you don’t mind the small bump in price the x-pac does feel premium and is more resistant to water and abrasions.

do you think a legion go gaming handheld would fit inside of the x pac edition been thinking about getting one for it
@@joshnalley1599 yes I believe it should fit just fine, the sling is quite large.
❤❤❤
