Perfect EDC camera Bag and a Clever Sony trick
Great video and great description of all the stuff that you carry I really appreciate it. I am legally blind, and cannot see what the bag looks like. I felt like you described everything very well, other than the fact, I had to get somebody to look at the bag because I like bags that sits like on my waist, horizontal, not perpendicular. More like a man purse style.
Rolling shutter and low light comparison between the a7iv and fx3
In a running gun scenario, the FX3 were typically be better for low light performance and rolling shutter at the price of resolution
What lens is your go to for video?
Rolling shutter has enterd the chat
Great video...VERY informative, helped me make my decision on which one to go with. Easy call to drop that extra 20$ on the X-PAC
@@miloe1er agreed!!
Looks huge: height could be slightly less, depth seems good but the length is too long. Wished it was 10 inches long. I'm not a tech nerd. I travel and day hike. I carry water bottle, rain jacket or vest, canon point and shoot, and small items like hand sanitizer, pen light etc.
Stay tuned Tomtoc just sent over something you might like. Reviews coming soon
Excellent video and gear!
Super informative. All on 1 take? Impressive!
I have the A7IV and love it but plan to get the A730 also so I can have the A730 solely for video then my A7IV for photo and use the full frame for video when needed.
The moment it was opened and the black interior was exposed... I'm out. Why so many companies don't go with a contrasting, if not high contrasting interior is beyond me. Nice bag, but they missed the boat on that alone.
Yup, black/extremely dark backpack/bag interior is a CRIME. It should be banned.
Very good video. You covered everything what is necessary. You really helped me with decision. Amazing stuff. Thx 🙏
Your welcome! Glad you find these helpful.
I just found your channel. Thank you for addressing IPads in your videos. I don’t understand why bag reviewers are ignoring IPads when most students and millennials carry these with us daily. I think it is one of the reasons sling bags and EDC bags are so popular now.
I’m glad you found the video helpful I try to keep a stock of iPads to show people what the newest technology can fit into
Could this fit a kobo libra 2?
Any squeeky noise from the strap hinges? I've seen people talking about this.
I haven’t experienced any noise this far with either of the slings
This is an incredible review and love your breakdown of your other gear/tech. Thanks, man!!
Thank you, I have nice coming soon.
Still rocking my a7iii i got off marketplace for $800 2 years ago and loving it🫡
Hi i have a Question my Tablet with Case has 15.5cm Height and 21cm Lenght does it still Fit i dont mind if its Tight Tight it should Stretch abit no? the Tech Case mini is 13,5cm on the Site so 2cm i need more the Tech Case normal is way to big for me sadly
Thanks for the review. Just curious what you would recommend between this and the H02 in terms of comfortability. I’m a student so I’ll be walking around campus all day, and I’m trying to decide between this style sling or a more messenger style bag.
Hello, I’m glad you like the review and I do have a recommendation for you. The explorer sling is much better set up to do walking especially at hot days. If all you’re caring is an iPad for class and you don’t need to carry a 14 inch laptop. This would definitely be my recommendation for you.
@@alphaartisan Thanks a bunch!
After u have put in all of your stuff n cables etc...the case becomes heavy..
Cool. Thank you.
The x pac version looks great they should have put a reflective zipper pull subtle reflective bits on the strap and a hidden pocket for a AirTag
I agree with all of the points that you made here and I’ll forward them to Tomtoc as suggestions, as always thank you for your feedback
I have the 7l sling and it’s my favorite. My only complaint is Tomtoc does a lot of black material inside. It’s so dark it can sometimes be hard to find things.
Yes, and now Tomtoc is using High-viz interiors a lot more.
Nice video, would you say the x-pac feels a bit more premium? I'm planning on getting this bad but I'm not sure which version I should get. Your input would be appreciated
Put everything together if you don’t mind the small bump in price the x-pac does feel premium and is more resistant to water and abrasions.
@@alphaartisan I agree I would rather pay more $$ for the water repellency those are one of the pros I like about the x pac material because just like the above comment I was trying to decide which to get but after watching your video I’ve made my choice
@@jaredharris1970 How water repellant is it really if the seams inside are not taped? Rain water pools on top gets in from the seams rather than the zipper?
magneRRRRRRic
I'd like to see the Tortuga pro 40L compared to the Pakt 45L backpack. Or even AER.
Great review man!
Thank you! Happy you liked it. It’s been a great sling.
Sony A7 IV is much better for low light situations such as concerts and clubs. Sony A7R V is overall great and excels at landscape, tho having too much focusing issues in low light. I do mostly portrait and street photography so it’s a no brainer for me. Also, I’m not rich to pay 3000€ for a camera haha.
I got the cordura version because i love the blue interior and the reasonable price. If the X-Pac version were available with the blue interior, I would be all over it. I'm not really a fan of the orange.
I feel that.
This is such an excellent video!! Your comparisons are excellent. Keep up the great videos, my friend you’re going to blow up with tons of followers that are into this!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for your kind words, I’m glad you like the videos and I have more on the way soon!!
I agree! His personal review and honest opinion really make a difference! I found out about this backpack from NF thanks to his first video on the smaller one, after buying the Daypack version I must say: I couldn't be happier. It was an excellent purchase (I even got a $33 discount on Amazon). This dude is legit in his videos, and I hope this channel grows even more! Great work Man! 🤘🏼
new here.. ths slings look neat and tidy.
Great video !!! ❤❤❤ This is definitely a great looking sling. Just subbed. 🎉 2:48
❤❤
Tomtoc is doing great things. I own their 40l backpack and their 6l sling bag that i love. Im using right now alpaka bravo since i upgraded from the tomtoc sling but now im tempted to get this. Always love this company and this new bag shows they listen to their customers
Great company for tech protection.
Dope video 🎥💯👌🏼
Thank you🤙🏽
Great video as always. Just picked up this sling and waiting on delivery. Didn't go for the X-pac version though. Would you consider doing straight comparison videos with other similiar size slings. I always watch reviews on slings and pouches but always wonder how they directly compare with other similiar size items, especially when you move same gear from one sling/pouch to another. Thanks again.
Thank you, I think a sling comparison would be a good idea and I have a few others to tomare them too.
❤❤❤
Could the water bottle pockets fit a 32oz wide mouth bottle if you really wanted it to? That’s the only deal break for me as an edc
Im unsure about that particular size, but the bottle I have in there fits pretty snug
Hey! I was able to fit a 1.2-liter (40 oz) bottle with no issue. It’s not too bulky and more on the thin side, but it fits! I hope that helps you.
@@Lucretia019 thank you so much!
Great camera, but not if/when it overheats for longer vids.
I did not experience any overheating issues during long shooting sessions
I recently discovered your channel and this particular video, and I absolutely loved your review! I have been searching for a compact yet spacious backpack for an upcoming trip to Spain and Morocco, and I believe this one fits my needs perfectly. It’s especially suitable as a personal item that can accommodate enough space in case I want to bring back souvenirs or medium-sized gifts. I also appreciated that you added the Amazon links to the different items - a nice touch indeed! Thank you so much, and please keep up the great work! 🤘
You are very welcome! Welcome to the Channel and I hope you enjoy your trip!
@alphaartisan Thanks, man! Looking forward to any new video you release. Your review helped me a ton, and this bag is just exactly what I need! One comment, though: I was able to fit not one, but two water bottles of 1.2 liters (40 oz) in the bottle holders (so it can handle a lot)! I love this backpack! Highly recommended as you pointed out.
🎒👍
Radiant beautiful striking , The bag I carry is tips from math books
Just got one
I think you’ll enjoy it. It’s a great camera. I have sold mine for the a7 cii for the smaller form factor, but it has the same sensor in it and it’s still my main video camera
Thanks for a very detailed and informative review! I look forward to your future bag reviews.
Glad to have you! Hope these are helpful
Awesome video! What’s the size of your heroclip?
The hero clip is a size medium
@@alphaartisan Thanks for the response.
I ordered the same case before seeing your video and I can honestly say that this carry bag is well made but with two issues that makes it a no go for me. The sleeves for my 13 inch iPad Pro with folio attached and the Magic Keyboard sleeves both has too much room wiggle room left after I place them there so that’s a deal breaker so I’ll be returning mine to look for a better secured option.
Were able to utilize the elastic strap on the corner to keep the iPad in place?
Bag's manufacturer here
A7iv suffers overheating problems when shooting in 4k after 15 mins!
Perhaps in direct sunlight, I’ve done shoots over an hour in the studio at room temperature with no issues but if you look at my other shorts, you can see how I have mine rigged out to the gate that even further.
Nice video, big fan of tomtoc bags. The viperade pouch seems really cool. I’ve been looking for something just like this. How do you think it compares with the maxpedition mini pocket organizer? Keep up the great videos.
The viperade is nice and it has a couple of benefits for me over the maxpedition. The viperade allows for quicker access to gear and without removing it from the pocket. It’s good for light edc gear that gets used more frequently and comes in x-Pac. The maxpedition Is great for heavier gear, harder use, and more extreme environments. When I travel by motorcycle or have expensive edc I’m bring into the jungle on an atv I’d use the maxpedition.
Great video. I just realized that the Incharge cable has micro usb in the lightning adapter.
I didn’t know that, thats good news!
