Is there a tutorial somewhere that shows the process of bringing in a logo such as the tormach one then using the engraving process to engrave? I can't seem to find any really good tutorials using the engrave feature. This video has been the best so far. Thanks
Hi, quick question, in Fusion 360 engraving, what do i need to do to get the tool to move (step over) faster to the next area to start cutting again? my tool move very slow, once it done cutting an area it go up and move to the next area, but it move very slow. Please help and Thank you.
It's thoroughly annoying that the community put out better tutorial videos than Autodesk for their own product - about 12 minutes of waffle for a minute of content.
AT 11:00 When you drop that SVG in and UNFIX it (love that I have to do that now, that only cost me an hour of my life) how come you don't get the handle to resize it? How would you go about resizing it?
I've been trying to use the engrave function to make inlay work, but haven't figured out how to make the male part yet. I wish to v-carve a design in to the work piece and then make a separate piece with the male part of the same design, so that I can glue them together and then sand it flush to create a very detailed inlay. Is this possible, or am I wasting my time trying?

For some reason, my O's don't work right. Instead of recognizing that one curve is inside another, it seems to treat the two parts of the O (inner and outer) as two different circles. Is there a trick to making that work right?
I tried Fusion 360 looks great and probably is but the people that sell it have no clue. Just get the run around, is there a way to purchase through AutoCad and not a reseller that has no brain?

Why the hell would you ever auto apply a fix constraint to an imported object you couldn't even see when you "placed" it on import? That's Fusion intuition for ya.
Tip: make the video about what the video is about. You spent a lot of time on irrelevant stuff and not enough on what the video was supposedly about. That’s annoying when someone is looking for a specific solution or explanation of a feature in 360.
Next time how about make the video about the title. I don't use soft jaws and this was a total waste of my time up until you actually talked about the title.

A question if the text is on a semi-spherical surface, how are the trajectories created?
Can you show the opposite? How would you do a relief instead of an emboss?

+Auarhau have you tried a Boolean? Like the 'combine' feature...trying to make the male piece.
No, that is beyond my skills at this time. I'd appreciate it a lot if something like that could be made into an example like the one you showed here.

Try the engrave function for just the O :)
