I use the ESV as well and it’s a blessing to follow along with you. Greetings 🕊️🙌 In verses 8-9, Paul’s letter that He sent “grieved them”, but in a good way because it led to their repentance. It reminds me of the scripture in proverbs that says, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend…”- proverbs 27:6. We Christian’s must be humble enough to receive open rebuke from our leaders in the faith because it’s out of Love.
