I recommend to go with a group because the portions tend to be huge, then you all can chope table, share and try more things. Dress very lightly also because it will be very warm and humid

Saw quite a number of 'student' vendors at Gastrobeats, including 'sushiboy' who advertised his food on tiktok, got called out for overpricing his "sushi", then had to revise his menu several times. Gastrobeats has to be more selective about their vendors - it should be an event with legit food with vendors dedicated to the craft. Right now its reputation is becoming more like overpriced food sold by amateur students/non-chef wannabe entrepreneurs looking to make fast cash in a pretentious environment in the downtown area. E.g. selling a few sticks for $10+ is really no go, not sure which local in his/her right mind would go for that even if you can afford it, because it makes the customer look silly spending so much on something which is a fraction of that price elsewhere with better taste. I'm sure not all the vendors are like that but just a few black sheep are enough to spoil its reputation.
Maybe the 4 cheese pizza was made better for the media tasting, but i tried it and was quite underwhelming tbh, could barely taste any honey and the cheese part was meh. basically paid $20 for fancy bread, shouldve tried the other flavours
Went ytd to be honest the food are super overpriced. Glad that i ate at dtf before going over cos the price are on par but the food portion are pathetic. In any case great video as always🎉
