Might be because it looks like a human moving but also like a machine. It kind of looks like the twitching of a dead insect, that might put your brain into alarm.
Incredible and creepy how well balanced it is. Considering this has to be the highlight real of its successes, somewhere out there is all the footage of these things flipping over cliffs and flailing maniacally while they were still working on putting the system together. I'd like to see that video.
Now imagine it with anti-tank armor, more speed when running, a pair of 20 mm cannons and a pair of blades for close encounters, with thermal vision and renewable energy, perhaps even a support drone to observe its target from the air, now you can imagine it behind you to neutralize you 24/7 - 365... kinda creepy.
It's the ultimate war machine. Send this thing running towards your enemy and they will flee in terror. Dear *GOD* that's terrifying. Still a great technology though.
Also while they're at it they should enlarge it and then tweak the machine to walk or even run faster when in good terrain to literally scare the living shit out of the enemy. Imagine a quadruped with a minigun and about the size of a horse running at you!
And also load it up with Machine Learning and shit to learn what are the common human traits when defending, running, or hiding. So don't expect hiding under the bed or ducking into cover to save you. Add a few grenade launchers to make sure no dug in forces can escape its wrath and you have a perfect killing machine.

If you could make it a little quieter then it could be a sort of "pack animal" for the military. Think about it, you have a squad of soldiers walking to a location, and you have the robot carrying extra ammo along with food and water. This would make soldiers less fatigued as well as increase the amount of supplies a squad can carry ten-fold.

nellautumngirl I think it may be simpler. It moves like a quadriped, but has no face/brain/identity. We assess other mammals by not only their movements, but their facial expressions. This has no face, so like...we don't know what to do. I don't know...could be a combination of many things.

They are lawyers, investors, bankers, CEOs, they own businesses, Fancy Clothing Companies, Large Stores and Malls, they are behind the Fashion Industry, they are powerful Real State Executives, and developers, they are deans, and professors of universities, scientists, owners of country clubs, golf courses, they own sport teams, they are behind the music industry, the Hollywood industry, casinos, they are members of the military, work for the NASA, Google, Apple, Microsoft, they work in the U.N., Nato, CIA, FBI and the list goes on and on and remember that the positions they held are most always of leadership.
They are all connected and interconnected.
So let's not be naïve, the One World Government prophesied in the Bible is here, the security measures to keep an eye on the entire world are in place, the technology so that nobody can escape or hide anywhere is here.
