I really enjoy bezeling, too. Tension makes a huge amount of difference, but also how many beads in the loop for a given rivoli size. I have noticed that at least a couple of Italian bead designers tend to user fewer beads, so that the starting loop naturally secures the rivoli on the back side, and the following rouind or two are worked at a looser tension to allow the bezel to expand enough to go around the stone. Then the final round or two on the front side is worked tighter to secure it on the front. It looks that you are doing that a bit here. There are tons of different ways to work a bezel to fit the stone. Right now, I'm really enjoying working a simple square stitch bezel, but there are so many different ways to do it! And I challenge myself when making a bracelets without stopping,I mean just continue the next and the next.Its actually a lot faster than making the rivoli cover or increasing them
Hi Emma. They all look so good but I now need to see what awesomeness you will do with them. I never knew what to do with them outside of a tube of glue and a setting. Hehehe
I kinda like RAW and netted bezels. Also make sure you use miyuki or toho that is called for in the pattern. I tried a bezel with miyuki years ago. I tried maybe 4 times. I switched to toho (in the pattern material list) and it worked fine.

Bezeling sure is a fiddley business. But they set the stones off so nicely and you can so so many things with them. Nice bezels, Emma 😊

Hi Linda 🤓 I get my 11/0 Delicas beads in bulk from The Craft Shop on Amazon Canada you can buy them from any bead shop. The 15/0 Czech beads I got from Shipwreck Beads. Both beads are available at most bead shops 🐿️

I know that counting is important but somewhere I always lost the way to step up...
Maybe it is that I am left handed and my brain don't understand how to do it correct 😎.

Is it right if I am using 14 mm Rivoli I have to take 32 delicas for the first row ?
And the step up will work the same way with more beads ?

OMG! You have been quite busy. They look beautiful. What are you going to do with all of these? I use an 8mm neon bead as a stop bead. You get extra stars for using a stop bead that is similar to your project beads. Be well, Princess Emma!
I do not like peyote ,it gets me confused
