Lynda Gibson Thank you Lynda🙏😃🌻 Relaxing while doing a bezel is the most important part! I should have mentioned that. I sometimes do breathing exercises before a challenging piece. Breathe in for 3 seconds, hold for 4, breathe out for 5! Repeat 😆👌

Speaking of right angle weave, I just saw a torturial where a lady used standard right angle weave to bezel a stone. Also, another where someone used herringbone stitch. Unfortunately, both videos were not in English ☹️. I could follow along but it's so so so much easier to be able to hear instructions as well. I don't suppose you've used either stitches to bezel stones before? It's always nice to be able to learn how to bezel stones/crystals with different stitches. Always using peyote gets boring. And thanks again for yet another beautiful tutorial. I love watching your videos because it's so easy to follow along. 😊

well I am thrilled. I finally have managed to bezel my rivioli with peyote. It looks great, tho not my fav stitch . It took me all night with several start overs, but now I feel like I have conquered a huge mountain. Tomorrow I will continue the front. My eyes are way too tired to continue on LOL

Hi Stephanie! So, I’m going to bite the bullet and try some of your beautiful pieces with rivolis and chaton...bezelling scares me a bit I must be honest. I want to make sure I’m buying the right chaton...when you say 8.2 mm, is that the same thing as a SS39 size? I’m looking at Fire Mountain Gems and it says 8.16-8.41 (1122), SS39. 36 delicas always comes out too big for my stone! It’s a14mm swarovsky fancy stone. I’ve done it 4 times and can’t get it tight enough!
14mm rivoli is what I’m using
Are you using Delicas? You can message a pic to Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look. Thirty six has always worked for me. You can try with 34 Delicas but I don’t think you’ll get the star pattern.

Even when I'm not making your projects (or rather, when I'm working on a different project, because everything I make lately has been inspired by your work), I like to have your videos on in the background, to keep me company. I do have a question about the materials for this project, however. Chatons are usually sold as "SS#" - stone size and a number, not by millimeters. What is the stone size for the chatons you're using? Many thanks!

I love this project, Stephanie. The stars are fabulous! I have a ton of 8mm Chatons to use. My Chatons have a more pointy back than the 14mm Rivoli. Are yours like that also? I think the stitch in the ditch would be cute with tiny drops. Thank you. I just love your projects and tutorials.

Thanks Stephanie. I just cut it apart, and I'm going to make sure I hang onto that slippery stone with an iron grip. I'm going to use a slightly tighter tension on the bezel also. Thank you kindly for your suggestions and tips!
