I like this movie. I was a kid when my dad took me to theater to watch this. I was scared when I heard the sound of the spinosarus in the scene where they land the plane and a guy goes inside the jungle and later it comes to eat him. Idk why this movie is Underrated
Love the design of the JP3 spinosaurus, may not be scientifically accurate today but its a awesome creature in the JP franchise, hope to see it again on screen
The one thing I never understood about the Spino was its ability to break through a fence that was SPECIFICALLY designed to keep it inside, but when it gets near that ol' rusty shed, it's like: "Aight, imma head out."
I have long assumed that it used up most of it’s strength to knock down the fence, thus, the reason why it couldn’t smash down the doors of the building.
Here's some explanations 1. The Spinosaurus was exhausted from smashing through the fence 2. The doors were much smaller more reinforced and had a cover above them, and so it couldn't have smashed them with it's entire body, only its head which perhaps is more sensitive since it never headbutts its enemies unlike the T.Rex
Couple things: 1) I actually adore the mystery surrounding the Spino. While JP3 is the weakest film overall in the series, in my opinion, I absolutely love Spinosaurus. Probably because it's been my favorite dinosaur since I was a kid. 2) Despite the inaccuracies, especially with very recent findings regarding Spinosaurus (which is nothing new with the Jurassic franchise. Being genetically bred and modified, Jurassic's dinos actually make sense to not be completely accurate to the fossil record), I love Spino's design in JP3. Plus, I highly encourage any Spino or Dino fans to go look up the new findings regarding how paleontologists now think Spinosaurus may have actually looked. Very interesting stuff.

But I just love talking about this shit lol) Current findings still show that Spino probably walked on either four or two legs, probably interchanging between the two depending on the terrain or circumstance. The biggest thing I was referring to was the tail-bones discovery made early last year. That discovery formed the most complete tail of the Spino to-date. So complete, that it seemed to form into an almost "paddle-like" shape (which is where the new illustrations of the "fish tail" come from.) At the time of me writing this response though, I read about another rather recent debate that's been happening since Jan of this year regarding the Spino's lifestyle based on the above finding of the tail. While the new look isn't argued, many in the scientific community don't think this actually supports a swimming-puruit lifestyle. While Spino undoubtedly swam, many believe it was more of a forager or sit-and-wait opportunistic hunter.

It’s actually confirmed that the spinosaurus wasn’t a hybrid in the film, because in Camp Cretaceous it’s proven that the Scorpios Rex was Henry Wu’s first attempt to create hybrid dinosaurs.
Thats a shame, I really liked the theory that the Spino, the JP3 raptors and flying dinosaurs were all hybrids/genetically messed with which is why they weren't on Ingens list and why they were so different from past films
In my opinion the Scorpius was probably a first hybrid as in mix of different species but the amalgam program was probably a mix of the same family of species as in the Spino is not only spino but baryonx too and so on

Ah, the Spinosaurus! The early cretaceous weirdo dinosaur. The more we find out about it, the more it seems like the theropod version of a platypus, or a chimera.
The more I think about it, maybe "hybrid" isn't the best way to describe the Spinosaurus, but I still think it's an "enhanced" version of one. I'd love to see the Spinosaurus again, but I have no idea how they would use it...
I agree, I don't think it's a hybrid as much as "souped up". I'm not sure if it will actually return in any future JW media, but I'd like them to at least address what happened to it. I feel like with something that aggressive and prone to fighting with other large predators that eventually it's number would come up so to speak, it can't win every fight.
@@Specogecko depends on what you mean, if you mean hybrids in the sense that their DNA is not pure, then sure, but they are not all hybrids of different species of Dinosaur. The Spino is a hybrid, but not in the same way as the I.rex or Indo.

There’s a reason all their dinosaurs are just mostly identified by their genus name and not their species as well. And they’re hybrids, hell look at the raptors! Their just as much genetically similar to a velociraptor as Kermit the frog is to real bullfrog. Every Dino is a hybrid, only way for them to have a reason in the franchise for their models to be so inaccurate and wrong.
They should do what they did with Rexy and Blue, make him/her a sorta a hero or have a hero/redemption arc by fighting against the movies big bad, make both Rex and Spino fans happy, so yeah

The Raptor scene would have been absolutely terrifying! Can you imagine how scary it would have been to see the Spinosaurus, the creature that killed a T.rex and terrorized our main characters for the majority of the movie, getting ripped apart alive (!) by a bunch of Raptors? For me, that would've made the Raptors even scarier than they already are!
Yeah they would have been scarier but they would’ve done this senselessly. The raptors from the jungle side of Isla Sorna were seeking out their eggs rather then just hunting the humans. One way I could see the raptors actually attacking it (other than being summoned by Dr. Grant) would be the raptors thinking the Spino was a threat for their eggs. However, it is a VERY fun idea for Jurassic Park 3.
@King Godred Actually, it might not be dead, since it was originally chalked up to have a rematch with the T-Rex in Fallen Kingdom, but decided that it didn't fit in the film. However, they said it might show up in the future still.
Fun fact you should know about the jp3, the Spinosaurus was not shot with a gun that was used to blow up the plane in the beginning of the film, if you look back and see the footage when group going through the remains of the plane you can see udesky picking up that same rifle and throwing it back down. and this takes place right before mr. And mrs. Kirby start talking to each other while getting dressed only a few measly seconds. I want to see how many people didn't notice that. Edit: in case some of you didn't know why he threw it back down the rifle was busted.
Well Cooper did IN FACT take a rifle that they DID shoot at the plane. 2 others used something smaller when they was at the airfield on Isla Sorna. Neat but irrelevant JP fact: The Spinosaurus ate the mercenary Cooper, portrayed by John Diehl. Diehl is probably most famous for his appearance on the 80s TV show Miami Vice, along with one Martin Ferraro. Ferraro is probably most well known as the lawyer Donald Gennaro from the original JP, eaten by Rexy in the iconic toilet death scene. It's truly irrelevant info but as a fan of both JP and MV it'll always be neat to me. As for favorite piece of info, the 1999 testing. InGen and JP is at its best when there's shady science going on, and the idea the company went back 2 years after the 97 expedition to start up a new lab is neat. I really think, given all we know, InGen and Dr. Wu used the Spinosaurus both to clear out the island (hence the unusual aggression) and to just fool around with the hybridization process. I think the Spinosaurus was intentionally bred to kill off the species on Sorna so InGen could retake the island in the future, either for a genuine new park or just to clean up their mess without the messy potential of human losses with another expedition.
I love the Spino. Both as a kid and now. And unlike pretty much everyone else, I never minded that she killed the T Rex. I liked that they were showing a different dinosaur coming out on top, even back when there had only been 2 previous films. That scene where she attacks everyone on the boat is still one of the scariest JP/W scenes to me. And it was lit 100% better than anything we see in Dominion or most of the stuff in FK. People complain about that too but I like being able to tell what's going on. I've also seen people complain about having the T Rex always win. Well, the one time they tried something different, everyone complained so bad they stopped making movies for about 14 years.
I would love to see the spinosaurs come back but I really don't want it to die or kill anything to give it more of a bad name like Blue, Rexy, or any of the main cast it's a veary underrated dinosaur in the Jurassic franchise cause of the spino vs rex fight and people are seeing that more than that's it's a amazing dino with lots of history behind it even more than just the Jurassic facts like if ya thought it was mysterious in the Jurassic franchise just look at it's real life info it was even wiearder like scientists even are debating if it walked on 2 legs or all 4s or if it had a medium both stance that's how crazy it is and I think with that mysterious real life story with its fossils getting blown up in ww2 and it being ghosted for so manny years and the knowledge of the Jurassic franchise it's one of the most intresting and most mysterious out of all the Jurassic dinosaurs and personally my second favorite dinosaur in both the Jurassic franchise and real life palenotalagy second to the Tyrannosaurs rex. Wouldn’t surprise me at all, IF there was some Baryonyx DNA used to fill in the missing elements of the Spinosaurus genome. It makes as much sense as using Asian elephant DNA to splice into mammoth genome in some of the cloning projects in real life. And a hybridization between Spinosaurus and Baryonyx genomes would also be much easier than what Wu would have to splice together for the Indominus several years later, if only for the fact that these two species were fairly closely related.
Number 11: its possible the spino wasn't even in isla sorna. In the film, the terrain is much different, and the buildings don't match with the ones from the lost world. This could mean that grant and the others thought they were on isla sorna, but were actually on a completely different island.
I highly doubt it was a different island. Also the Lost World and JP3 took place on opposite sides of the island so the terrain would change gradually across the island.

JP3 was the movie that introduced me to my favorite dinosaur of all time, the design in the movie is gorgeous, but everything about the real world counterpart, from the history of it´s discovery to the misteries that it still has, is what trully makes it my favorite in the fossil record, and I have this movie to thank for that. The top 3 facts are by far my favorite, especially 2 and 3, hopefully we can see in the upcoming movie these beeing confirmed and or elaborated on
That's actually not necessarily true, those theories about those extremely short legs are fishy as hell, the fossile legs could be from a young specimen. I'm pretty sure it will be debunked in a near future.
Ya know what would be great? A JP show called “the Amalgam Program” that would take place in the late 90’s, have a tone like Lost world, and could sorta be a mystery-thriller like WandaVision. And it culminates with the creation of the Spinosaurus who proceeds to kill the entire cast

When the only reason it won was because Jack Horner hates the T.rex and thinks that bigger automatically means an insta-win. Sorry but he's an idiot. The Spino's head shape puts it at a disadvantage. It's a fisher. Its bite force isn't that strong. I subscribe to the hybrid theory because that's the only way a Spino is going to win against a dinosaur whose head was designed to crush bone. Spino is my favorite carnivore thanks to this movie. Fun fact is that prior to seeing Jurassic Park 3, I had never heard of this dinosaur. I legit thought they made it up for the movie. I was about thirteen years too early for that. I would love to see it again but with one last movie (so far), I'm not going to hold out hope that it's going to pop up on the mainland since we don't know the state of Isla Sorna or the status of the animal itself.
@BearXc4d they're entitled to their wrong opinion. The science of a Spino skull vs a Rex Skull is unquestionably solid. Spino isn't breaking necks easily. I also say that, aside from the hybrid theory, the Rex it fought was a sub-adult, ergo not experienced enough to win in a fight.

Death by raptor ambush, may have had other massive ramifications for the raptors’ relationship to all other mega predators too. In that case, the raptors could just as likely cause a significant extinction event of several species, like the Spinosaurus could have caused too?!
Ironically I re-watched Jurassic Park 3 and it’s not as bad as people say it is, sure it has its faults and yes I’m pissed that the T Rex is dead that doesn’t mean that I hate the Spinosaurus in fact I’ve grown to appreciate the Spinosaurus and I would love to see it again in a future Jurassic Park movie. @klaytonfioriti you should look into Godzilla 1998 a little bit more you will find some interesting stuff that would’ve made the movie a hell lot better but I know you only do Jurassic Park related stuff so but when you get a chance. I also highly recommend you read the script it is so great I also like the fact that Alan Grant went out of his way to reveal the spinosaurus egyptus to the general public but of course nobody would believe them until later. Nice and interesting Dino Facts on the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III. I rewatch Jurassic Park III alongside Dinosaur 2000 which was a really great dinosaur movie and I could understand why Spinosaurus was a powerful and the most indestructible predator in Isla Sorna all thanks to Jack Horner long before the Indominus Rex Rex from Jurassic World but that’s just my opinion but great explanation of the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III. The Spinosaurus was once thought to this kaiju like monster with a huge sail on its back and now its a peaceful predator that would hunt for fish for food known as a fish killer, probably from Planet Dinosaur and Bigger than T. rex from the National Geographic Nova series. Might sound silly, but as a kid it traumatized me when the Spino ate Cooper and Nash, the look of terror and cooper crying begging to stop the plane, and Nash's guttural screams, might not have been the best of the trilogy but damn it sure was scary for me as a Child.
What's even more gruesome is that when Nash tries to get away by crawling into the grass, the Spinosaurus crushes underneath him with it's foot and ate his head.
I like how the hybrid theory has gained more credibility since the new discoveries and insights into the real Spinosaurus making the JP interpretation look like a generic Rex analogue but with a spine and long snout. You can definitely infer a long term goal of the super-hybrid using a Rex-like base body template before they moved on to more intricate gene mixes for Indominus. All that aside though the real version of Spino has since become my favourite dino for just how weird it is and how unlikely as it is I'm secretly hoping they do introduce a more realistic Spino in Dominion; the real Spino needs sine big screen recognition.

@@jiajungoeh2187 actually paleontologists now think that it likely would have actually been quite a fast runner going about 20-30 mph on average. I know they used to think it couldn't run, but new discoveries have changed that, they found some kind of thing in the legs that would have allowed for it to actually run quite fast despite its massive weight being 10 tons. Irl Spino is only likely about like 10-12 meters long irl assuming that the holotype is smaller than average, because the holotype is only 9.5 meters long and 3.7 tons

Now with the inclusion of the Spinosaurus skeleton next to the E750 files in Camp Cretaceous, I think the reason why the Spinosaurus was hidden knowledge in canon was due to it being a sort of test to see if Henry Wu could make dinosaurs for militaristic purposes.
I’m curious to see what happens with the spino. With the introduction of the giganotosaurus... I’m wondering how it would be introduced in the movie since the Jurassic Park/World movies have typically limited huge dino battles to only one per movie. I hope that the spino gets a rematch with the t-rex... but I’m not entirely sure it will. Guess we’ll have to see when the movie comes out! Also, I wonder what happened to the two fans who won Chris Pratt’s fundraiser. I wonder if our current global situation made it so they could no longer participate in the movie... hopefully not because that would suck :(

I still have a theory that there are 2 spinosaurus subspecies in the J universe. One is the one from jp3.... But in the 90s there was also a Playstation game that featured the more small Version of spinosaurus. So maby there are different spinosaurus species!
Shame we haven't gotten any Spinosaurus content in years. It would be interesting to learn more about the creature and its creation It would make a perfect antagonist for a future film. Imagine if it had escaped to the Costa Rican mainland or had gotten into conflict with a platoon of soldiers at the end of JP 3

It remains a very incredible theory (or script) that the Spinosaurus would die in a battle with the Raptors. It outsmarted people a few times. It get hit by a plane, wrecked that same plane, killed some humans, and killed the T-Rex. I think that the Spinosaurus would be smart enough to leave before the fight even took place, by a sense. It would be far below its stand, and a unbelievable moment, considering what happened to the beast, or what it did. Wouldn't have benefited the movie
To this day I still wish that Spinosarus would return in Jurassic World 3, hell even as the main Dinosaur villain. That and have the Trex Spino rematch with old Rexy herself.

I like this movie. I was a kid when my dad took me to theater to watch this. I was scared when I heard the sound of the spinosarus in the scene where they land the plane and a guy goes inside the jungle and later it comes to eat him. Idk why this movie is Underrated

The one thing I never understood about the Spino was its ability to break through a fence that was SPECIFICALLY designed to keep it inside, but when it gets near that ol' rusty shed, it's like: "Aight, imma head out."

I have long assumed that it used up most of it’s strength to knock down the fence, thus, the reason why it couldn’t smash down the doors of the building.
Here's some explanations
1. The Spinosaurus was exhausted from smashing through the fence
2. The doors were much smaller more reinforced and had a cover above them, and so it couldn't have smashed them with it's entire body, only its head which perhaps is more sensitive since it never headbutts its enemies unlike the T.Rex

Couple things:
1) I actually adore the mystery surrounding the Spino. While JP3 is the weakest film overall in the series, in my opinion, I absolutely love Spinosaurus. Probably because it's been my favorite dinosaur since I was a kid.
2) Despite the inaccuracies, especially with very recent findings regarding Spinosaurus (which is nothing new with the Jurassic franchise. Being genetically bred and modified, Jurassic's dinos actually make sense to not be completely accurate to the fossil record), I love Spino's design in JP3.
Plus, I highly encourage any Spino or Dino fans to go look up the new findings regarding how paleontologists now think Spinosaurus may have actually looked. Very interesting stuff.

Current findings still show that Spino probably walked on either four or two legs, probably interchanging between the two depending on the terrain or circumstance. The biggest thing I was referring to was the tail-bones discovery made early last year. That discovery formed the most complete tail of the Spino to-date. So complete, that it seemed to form into an almost "paddle-like" shape (which is where the new illustrations of the "fish tail" come from.) At the time of me writing this response though, I read about another rather recent debate that's been happening since Jan of this year regarding the Spino's lifestyle based on the above finding of the tail. While the new look isn't argued, many in the scientific community don't think this actually supports a swimming-puruit lifestyle. While Spino undoubtedly swam, many believe it was more of a forager or sit-and-wait opportunistic hunter.

It’s actually confirmed that the spinosaurus wasn’t a hybrid in the film, because in Camp Cretaceous it’s proven that the Scorpios Rex was Henry Wu’s first attempt to create hybrid dinosaurs.
Thats a shame, I really liked the theory that the Spino, the JP3 raptors and flying dinosaurs were all hybrids/genetically messed with which is why they weren't on Ingens list and why they were so different from past films

In my opinion the Scorpius was probably a first hybrid as in mix of different species but the amalgam program was probably a mix of the same family of species as in the Spino is not only spino but baryonx too and so on

I agree, I don't think it's a hybrid as much as "souped up". I'm not sure if it will actually return in any future JW media, but I'd like them to at least address what happened to it. I feel like with something that aggressive and prone to fighting with other large predators that eventually it's number would come up so to speak, it can't win every fight.

@@Specogecko depends on what you mean, if you mean hybrids in the sense that their DNA is not pure, then sure, but they are not all hybrids of different species of Dinosaur. The Spino is a hybrid, but not in the same way as the I.rex or Indo.

There’s a reason all their dinosaurs are just mostly identified by their genus name and not their species as well. And they’re hybrids, hell look at the raptors! Their just as much genetically similar to a velociraptor as Kermit the frog is to real bullfrog. Every Dino is a hybrid, only way for them to have a reason in the franchise for their models to be so inaccurate and wrong.

Yeah they would have been scarier but they would’ve done this senselessly. The raptors from the jungle side of Isla Sorna were seeking out their eggs rather then just hunting the humans. One way I could see the raptors actually attacking it (other than being summoned by Dr. Grant) would be the raptors thinking the Spino was a threat for their eggs. However, it is a VERY fun idea for Jurassic Park 3.

Fun fact you should know about the jp3, the Spinosaurus was not shot with a gun that was used to blow up the plane in the beginning of the film, if you look back and see the footage when group going through the remains of the plane you can see udesky picking up that same rifle and throwing it back down. and this takes place right before mr. And mrs. Kirby start talking to each other while getting dressed only a few measly seconds.

Well Cooper did IN FACT take a rifle that they DID shoot at the plane. 2 others used something smaller when they was at the airfield on Isla Sorna. The plane killing rifle got indeed used because the 2 others rushed back to the plane while Cooper was still at the Spino and tried to shoot it, but most likely missed or shot a none vital spot.

Neat but irrelevant JP fact: The Spinosaurus ate the mercenary Cooper, portrayed by John Diehl. Diehl is probably most famous for his appearance on the 80s TV show Miami Vice, along with one Martin Ferraro. Ferraro is probably most well known as the lawyer Donald Gennaro from the original JP, eaten by Rexy in the iconic toilet death scene.
It's truly irrelevant info but as a fan of both JP and MV it'll always be neat to me.
As for favorite piece of info, the 1999 testing. InGen and JP is at its best when there's shady science going on, and the idea the company went back 2 years after the 97 expedition to start up a new lab is neat. I really think, given all we know, InGen and Dr. Wu used the Spinosaurus both to clear out the island (hence the unusual aggression) and to just fool around with the hybridization process. I think the Spinosaurus was intentionally bred to kill off the species on Sorna so InGen could retake the island in the future, either for a genuine new park or just to clean up their mess without the messy potential of human losses with another expedition.

I love the Spino. Both as a kid and now. And unlike pretty much everyone else, I never minded that she killed the T Rex. I liked that they were showing a different dinosaur coming out on top, even back when there had only been 2 previous films. That scene where she attacks everyone on the boat is still one of the scariest JP/W scenes to me. And it was lit 100% better than anything we see in Dominion or most of the stuff in FK. People complain about that too but I like being able to tell what's going on.
I've also seen people complain about having the T Rex always win. Well, the one time they tried something different, everyone complained so bad they stopped making movies for about 14 years.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all, IF there was some Baryonyx DNA used to fill in the missing elements of the Spinosaurus genome. It makes as much sense as using Asian elephant DNA to splice into mammoth genome in some of the cloning projects in real life.
And a hybridization between Spinosaurus and Baryonyx genomes would also be much easier than what Wu would have to splice together for the Indominus several years later, if only for the fact that these two species were fairly closely related.
Number 11: its possible the spino wasn't even in isla sorna. In the film, the terrain is much different, and the buildings don't match with the ones from the lost world. This could mean that grant and the others thought they were on isla sorna, but were actually on a completely different island.

I highly doubt it was a different island. Also the Lost World and JP3 took place on opposite sides of the island so the terrain would change gradually across the island.
Sorna was a big Island compared to Nublar pretty sure they were on the right island.

JP3 was the movie that introduced me to my favorite dinosaur of all time, the design in the movie is gorgeous, but everything about the real world counterpart, from the history of it´s discovery to the misteries that it still has, is what trully makes it my favorite in the fossil record, and I have this movie to thank for that.

Here are some more facts: It had very short legs. It had a fishy tail. It was built for an aquatic lifestyle rather than killing a Trex.
That's actually not necessarily true, those theories about those extremely short legs are fishy as hell, the fossile legs could be from a young specimen. I'm pretty sure it will be debunked in a near future.

When the only reason it won was because Jack Horner hates the T.rex and thinks that bigger automatically means an insta-win. Sorry but he's an idiot. The Spino's head shape puts it at a disadvantage. It's a fisher. Its bite force isn't that strong. I subscribe to the hybrid theory because that's the only way a Spino is going to win against a dinosaur whose head was designed to crush bone.
Spino is my favorite carnivore thanks to this movie. Fun fact is that prior to seeing Jurassic Park 3, I had never heard of this dinosaur. I legit thought they made it up for the movie. I was about thirteen years too early for that.
I would love to see it again but with one last movie (so far), I'm not going to hold out hope that it's going to pop up on the mainland since we don't know the state of Isla Sorna or the status of the animal itself.
@BearXc4d they're entitled to their wrong opinion. The science of a Spino skull vs a Rex Skull is unquestionably solid. Spino isn't breaking necks easily. I also say that, aside from the hybrid theory, the Rex it fought was a sub-adult, ergo not experienced enough to win in a fight.

Death by raptor ambush, may have had other massive ramifications for the raptors’ relationship to all other mega predators too. In that case, the raptors could just as likely cause a significant extinction event of several species, like the Spinosaurus could have caused too?!
Ironically I re-watched Jurassic Park 3 and it’s not as bad as people say it is, sure it has its faults and yes I’m pissed that the T Rex is dead that doesn’t mean that I hate the Spinosaurus in fact I’ve grown to appreciate the Spinosaurus and I would love to see it again in a future Jurassic Park movie. @klaytonfioriti you should look into Godzilla 1998 a little bit more you will find some interesting stuff that would’ve made the movie a hell lot better but I know you only do Jurassic Park related stuff so but when you get a chance. I also highly recommend you read the script it is so great I also like the fact that Alan Grant went out of his way to reveal the spinosaurus egyptus to the general public but of course nobody would believe them until later. Also keep up the good work Klayton I appreciate the content you make.

I rewatch Jurassic Park III alongside Dinosaur 2000 which was a really great dinosaur movie and I could understand why Spinosaurus was a powerful and the most indestructible predator in Isla Sorna all thanks to Jack Horner long before the Indominus Rex Rex from Jurassic World but that’s just my opinion but great explanation of the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III.
The Spinosaurus was once thought to this kaiju like monster with a huge sail on its back and now its a peaceful predator that would hunt for fish for food known as a fish killer, probably from Planet Dinosaur and Bigger than T. rex from the National Geographic Nova series.
One more thing I had to ask you, have you seen Planet Dinosaur and Bigger Than T. rex with the depiction of Spinosaurus?

Might sound silly, but as a kid it traumatized me when the Spino ate Cooper and Nash, the look of terror and cooper crying begging to stop the plane, and Nash's guttural screams, might not have been the best of the trilogy but damn it sure was scary for me as a Child.
What's even more gruesome is that when Nash tries to get away by crawling into the grass, the Spinosaurus crushes underneath him with it's foot and ate his head.

I like how the hybrid theory has gained more credibility since the new discoveries and insights into the real Spinosaurus making the JP interpretation look like a generic Rex analogue but with a spine and long snout. You can definitely infer a long term goal of the super-hybrid using a Rex-like base body template before they moved on to more intricate gene mixes for Indominus. All that aside though the real version of Spino has since become my favourite dino for just how weird it is and how unlikely as it is I'm secretly hoping they do introduce a more realistic Spino in Dominion; the real Spino needs sine big screen recognition.

@@jiajungoeh2187 actually paleontologists now think that it likely would have actually been quite a fast runner going about 20-30 mph on average. I know they used to think it couldn't run, but new discoveries have changed that, they found some kind of thing in the legs that would have allowed for it to actually run quite fast despite its massive weight being 10 tons. Irl Spino is only likely about like 10-12 meters long irl assuming that the holotype is smaller than average, because the holotype is only 9.5 meters long and 3.7 tons

Now with the inclusion of the Spinosaurus skeleton next to the E750 files in Camp Cretaceous, I think the reason why the Spinosaurus was hidden knowledge in canon was due to it being a sort of test to see if Henry Wu could make dinosaurs for militaristic purposes.
I’m curious to see what happens with the spino. With the introduction of the giganotosaurus... I’m wondering how it would be introduced in the movie since the Jurassic Park/World movies have typically limited huge dino battles to only one per movie. I hope that the spino gets a rematch with the t-rex... but I’m not entirely sure it will. Guess we’ll have to see when the movie comes out! Also, I wonder what happened to the two fans who won Chris Pratt’s fundraiser. I wonder if our current global situation made it so they could no longer participate in the movie... hopefully not because that would suck :(

I still have a theory that there are 2 spinosaurus subspecies in the J universe. One is the one from jp3.... But in the 90s there was also a Playstation game that featured the more small Version of spinosaurus. So maby there are different spinosaurus species!

Clearly the director and producer is biased against the spino. Objectively, if it tore through the bull rex with ease, killing aging rexy wouldn't be an issue.

It remains a very incredible theory (or script) that the Spinosaurus would die in a battle with the Raptors. It outsmarted people a few times. It get hit by a plane, wrecked that same plane, killed some humans, and killed the T-Rex. I think that the Spinosaurus would be smart enough to leave before the fight even took place, by a sense. It would be far below its stand, and a unbelievable moment, considering what happened to the beast, or what it did. Wouldn't have benefited the movie
