When my sister was about four she took a bite of some really stringy pizza. We where in the car driving and she was strapped in. I had a bad feeling for some reason and turned around to see her attempting to gag but couldnt get air to do so. I jumped to the back seat, i couldnt take her out since we where driving and i didnt have time, so i did a blind figer sweep of her throat, found the cheese and struggled to pull it out because it kept stretching. the ancor gave way and it came out. I firmly believe no Heimlich maneuver wouldve gotten that out. It was huge and super melted. But she was fine, said thank you and kept eating besides previously being red in the face. The only time i can think of where a blind finger sweep was better than Heimlich.
Hey Jordan you need to see the latest episode of Family Guy, the full episode not just clips. It's a Halloween special. I won't spoil it but it almost a full show of medical incidents.
Nah he's just a horndog and wouldn't say no to anything. Remember when he stayed at the Griffin's. He admitted to lots of nasty cex with Megatron. and he meant lots...
That's not true, don't spread lies about Rick Allen. He was driving too fast through the UK countryside on a winding road, and rolled the car. The seatbelt twisted around his arm and removed it. Doctors were actually able to briefly reattach his arm, but it contracted gangrene and had to be removed. He almost lost his other arm as well, but they were able to stop the infection.
React to A Silent Voice movie. It's an anime movie about a guy who used to bully a deaf girl tries to ask for her forgiveness. Example: Shoya walking out of the hospital at night despite his condition with the hospital's lack of security
I've done it once, a customer passed out at work, manager was on the phone with 911, didn't know how to do CPR so I stepped in. By the time the paramedics showed up she was awake again. Since then the company has set rules that all management has to get trained on first aid including the Heimlich & CPR. There must be at least one person on at all times who is trained. They even encourage other staff to get the training and offer to pay for it for up to x number of workers each year. They've also installed a portable AED in the building. Thankfully, as of this writing, we've never had to use it. But it's good to know it's there if we ever do have that situation.

The pukecicle reminds me of the times my dad used to say how cold winters were for him as a child, when people still had to use outdoor toilets, and for the boys, you could watch the pee stream freeze as it hit the frozen toilet bowl, and that was the UK before everything got warm and wet, goodness knows what other cold climates have to go through... :P
There was this one video I saw long ago where a guy holding a long-handle pot containing water tossed it outside with extreme cold temperature and that said water immediately turned into an icicle instantly! lol
4:19 Not an uncommon injury with professional baseball pitchers. Usually it's a torn UCL requiring "Tommy John surgery" to replace the tendon (named after the first recipient former pitcher Tommy John). At the time it was purely experiemental and for several years it was believed to be the beginning of the end of a pitcher's career. But thanks to modern day advances, nearly all recipients of the surgery recover after about a year and can continue their careers. Most of them pitching to the same level as they were before or better. Some have even been able to continue after a 2nd procedure. There is a clip going around though of pitcher Tony Saunders who fractured his humerus and tore ligaments in a game after throwing a pitch. It was said you could hear the snap all through the stadium. After he had surgery he returned the minor leagues a little over a year later in the hopes of making a comeback to the majors. But in his 5th game his arm snapped again in nearly the same spot. He retired soon after.
Gross things my dog eats? I walk my boy Jace in our pasture where we keep a horse and he loves to after the "field apples." He also goes after pigeons and he's pretty good at catching them too
the injuries of bottom. like attempting dentistry with a spade. or shooting a pencil into someone's arse. and who can forget the mousetraps to the balls?
I used to be a St. John Ambulance cadet, and I always thought that to save someone from choking, not only you would do abdominal thrusts but also hit the patient in the back.
My dog ate Hersheys kisses with the little tinfoil wrappers on and she managed to pass them just fine it was a miracle but when we looked in our backyard there were little silver poops everywhere it was actually quite a spectacle to witness
My dog almost ate a medical glove that was on the ground and I stopped her from doing so. It was before COVID-19 quarantine happened in Wisconsin. I live there.
Compartment Syndrome is extremely painful. I had it in 2004 among other screwed up things like Sepsis and few other stuff that I don't even remember right now. I remember some of them but just those were more than enough 😭
Title: The incident in Zapupykino In the village of Zapupykino, on the edge of the bright forest, there lived a cat Fedya. He was not just a cat, but a real tracker who had studied the habits of cows since childhood. Yes, yes, it is cows! Every day, Fedya watched them chew grass and sometimes compose poems about life. But one day, to his surprise, NEFOR_31 arrived in the village, a man with a cheerful mood and a large backpack. In the morning, the sunny morning was as quiet as a mouse in the basement. Suddenly there was a booming sound, as if someone had decided to arrange a dance with a tambourine. Fedya looked out from his hiding place and saw: a herd of cows, gorged on peas, as if they had riveted propellers and soared into the air! Cows! The cows are bursting!!! "These cows have done a lot of things!" thought Fedya, looking at how they fly with pleasure, and the whole village is under them. People in Zapupykino shied away in different directions, raising their hands in a sign of panic. And the cows, like warplanes, began to bomb houses and people with large cakes. It was a sight! Incredible and hilarious. Grandmother Fekla and Grandfather Boris, who had always discussed the weather, were now discussing how to hide from the cow bombardment. "What should I do, Thekla?" Grandfather asked, trying to dodge the flying tortilla. "We need to call for help!" the grandmother replied, but none of them knew how to do it. Meanwhile, NEFOR_31, having seen what was happening, gathered his strength. He remembered that he had an old drawing of a toilet anti-aircraft gun in his backpack, which he had once discovered in the library. "This is what we need!" he exclaimed, and without wasting time, he began to build an anti-aircraft gun using everything that was at hand: buckets, sticks and even grandma's pies. When the anti-aircraft gun was ready, NEFOR_31 climbed into it and started shooting at cows. But instead of ammunition, he had pies! And, lo and behold! The cows, having caught these pies, began to land, as if their pilots were at hand. Soon the village of Zapupykino found itself in a pie paradise, and the cows, forgetting about the bombing, began to treat everyone with their milk. Cow's milk and pies were served for breakfast, and joy reigned in the air. NEFOR_31 saved Zapupykino, but, as it turned out, it was necessary to build a toilet anti-aircraft gun to protect the village from unexpected cow flights in the future. Since then, the Cow Flights holiday has been celebrated in Zapupykino every year, and Fedya and NEFOR_31 have become best friends, always ready for new adventures..😂😂😂
Big problem is, that a lot of additional sugar and fat is put into our food, simply because it's cheap. It would overall be easier to decrease this and that without much impact at all on the taste. Some food got problems regarding the consistency, for example food you can smear on your bread and in that case fat plays often a vital role in making it that "creamy", but even there people found ways to get around that. We add a lot of stuff to our food - wouldn't be hard to make it vitamins and alike instead of (addtional) fat and sugar (also don't like it when both are treated in a way as if they are toxines, we would literally die without glucose and even body fat is important for the body to function as well, since it's a fast energy source for it), but well...
Another thing for the heimlich maneuver is don't do if if the person is still coughing. If they're still coughing they can still potentially clear it on their own. Instruct the person to stand and continue coughing until the blockage is clear or the airway is obstructed enough that there's enough of a seal to actually create the pressure that lets the maneuver work in the first place. Also yes if the person is awake you still need to ask before helping to be covered by good Samaritan laws

I love how offended the doctor got watching Jerome doing the Heimlich maneuver incorrectly (when it was clearly the joke haha)
When Jerome doing the “heimlich maneuver” on Lois. It’s quite obvious he hasn’t gotten over her.
That wasn't what was going on. Seems like the joke went way over your head
But dont date his daughter if you're white.

Doctor, send me your greetings 😭😭
They once showed racoons working in a hospital.💀 DEFINITELY NOT hygienic.
