I have been working remotely since 2020 so I've gotten SO LAZY with styling my hair, logically I know that shorter hair actually needs more attention (on me anyway) but my brain forgets and says "short will be easier!" lol I love makeup chore day, it's something I do pretty regularly. There's just something about having clean makeup and brushes! I keep all of my makeup inside a little Ikea Saxborga case so I decant a lot of full size into smaller packaging, too. It's like having a mini-pan every time you have to refill it!
I go through the same thing with my hair.. having short hair but missing the length and then letting it grow too long only to chop it off.. the biggest pro about shorter hair is that it's so much easier to manage, especially when its styled!
For my makeup desk I bought an inexpensive table mat from the dollar tree, it's just a thin piece of plastic, but works great for anything I spill when doing my makeup. Highly recommend!
I use the Catrice eyeshadow primer. It’s also goes on a bit oily, but as soon as it dries down, it’s matte. I have very oily eyelids, and have not had a problem with my eyeshadows creasing or fading, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes. The only issue I have with it is that it is clear. I would prefer a primer with some color too it to cancel out all my redness and blue veins.
Oh, I forgot to recommend an eyeshadow primer! My all time favourite is from The Balm and I can't remember if you've ever tried that one. It's called "Put a lid on it" eyelid primer if you're ever in the need of another in the future 😊
I can't stand staining on my white furniture, I used to have a hard time with the stains. I found using magic sponge (white sponge) helps removing them...really enjoy your makeup contents > they inspire me to clean my makeup brushes ❤

I can understand your wanting a hot beverage for the coziness factor with that backdrop. PS, several years ago I switched to espresso drinks because those beans are roasted longer and thus have less caffeine than regular drip, and for me it successfully helps avoid excess jitters.
You have inspired me to repress 4 eyeshadows and to make a Frankenbronzer by combining a powder and bronzer in an Hourglass Face palette that I’m panning. It really is satisfying.
I have a white table as well and i found those magic erasers in sheet form so i just use that about once a month and since its reusable/rinsable, one little sheet lasts me like a year or something. 👍🧡👍🧡
I put a white marble contactplastic on my white vanity. It looks great and I can take it off/change it anytime. I’ve had it on for a few years already and it looks like new
I have oily eyelids and the wet n wild eyeshadow primer works amazingly for me. Better than some high-end. Plus, with that price for that quality. Cannot get any better
Love the hair 😍 also, about the hair color lastning - red hair colors last much better in many cases, it is just the red pigments that just really lasts. Also, depending on what your hair was before coloring it, pigments will last more or less. But Im not surpriced that you still have a bit red remaining in your hair 🙂
Your hair is incredible, the perfect length for you!! I put contact paper on my makeup table, like shelf liner, but the clear kind, and when it gets too nasty I just swap, but I live with it for a long time and it wipes clean well cause it's vinyl and not absorbent like the wood surface

I've also always gone through cycles with my hair but right now im resisting the urge to cut it and trying to grow it longer than i've ever had it...right now its mid back lenght

I would recommend the ABH bronzer in rosewood. I used one up completely and repurchased it.
