The Peninsula Hong Kong will mark its 90th anniversary in December 2018. Numerous celebrities, from politicians to movie stars, have lived in this luxury hotel during the last century. And it has become a collective memory of Hongkongers and even the symbol of the city.
The 77-year-old senior bartender Johnny Chung Kam-hung feels at home in The Peninsula Hong Kong. He is one of the longest-serving employees of the hotel, having worked there for over 60 years, and has fond memories of serving guests behind the Lobby Cocktail Bar over the decades.
And how many sick days he took in all these years? Maybe very few! Incredibly loyal person to his job, respect 😊
