I am here because while I was surfing this morning 2 dolphins showed up by my side and I can’t get this out of my head so I went on youtube to look more videos of it, it’s so amazing!

I remember being 16 yrs old in 90´s here in Acapulco México, and walking to the beach.. i used to go alone.. and i learned to do that thing of riding the wave without table, just swiming as fast as i could when I had the wave right behinde me, at some point the wave picked me up and gave me a ride..sometimes was a long ride and I remember being sorrounded by dolphins many times.. they seemed to like going with me in the wave.. being born in the coast i knew they were harmless so I enjoyed the expirience. Im so glad I did that cause Whenever I remember those mornings and afternoons i still feel it and it´s like a healing sensation.. now im almost 40 and the beach wich was once solitary is now full of hotels and condos and lots of people, not a desirable place anymore. Sorry my english hhaha
Sounds like a beautiful time. Much like mine in New Smyrna beach. It has much more population now and n9ot what it once was, but holds a special place in my heart !
Your story is great! The only thing that makes this world miserable is us ....being the number one that Is threatening the nature's habitats, we are on the brink destruction.
I think dolphins like doing that because I too was boogie boarding with a friend and we were in a school of dolphins or porpoise. The lifeguard had to swim out and tell us lol I also had a dream once that dolphins were healers of humans. It was a very cool dream like I was the dolphin in the dream and swimming in a school, and one was my daughter and another my sister. Coolest dream I've ever had.
This is outstanding footage, and it's unlikely any sharks in the area have much of a chance to pick off a surfer with these remarkable animals around. Cheers

Back in NC there was a Hurricane offshore but no threat to land. I was at work on the beach and took a break at lunch time to hop in the car and shoot down to a local Iron Steamer pier in Altantic Beach to see how the surf was... well it was 8-9' and the only surfers were the dolphins! They would ride on their belly's ... nose dive down... and shoot back out of the water doing a backflip over the wave and catch the next one! What an awesome site! (sadly that was in the days before the smart phone)

I spent a week at the Dolphin Research Center, the original Flipper school! The Dolphins were free to come and go as they wished! It is called Dolphin Lab and you spend the week learning about these wonderful animals! Marathon, Florida / Florida Keys - when Florida was a good place to visit! It has turned very negative / too RED for me! 🤔🇩🇪🇨🇭🇺🇲💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬

Those dolphins are much better surfers than the humans here. They keep shooting out of the wave, catching lots of air, and diving into the swell again as it moves toward shore. Pretty awesome.
And that can be a good thing and bad thing, bad for the humans that wanna harm them good for those who love dolphins and love seeing them up close in their natural habitat
Wow wow wow wow wow. There are so many things about this video which are wonderful. I've seen quite a few clips of dolphins surfing with surfers, but this is far and away the best. It is the total opposite of Sea World type shows - where dolphins are kept in states of constant hunger in order to make sure they will jump for food, and humans can bank some cash. Here they fly through the water and air spurred by their natural free exuberance, rather than forced to as starving prisoners made to take part in those obscene fakeries.
That's awesome One time there was a jellyfish bloom and I was riding a wave with a ton of jellyfish felt like a fkng Disney princess lol, was honestly amazing
