Crazy how many people dont even attempt to get out of the way for first guy on the yellow board, like just sitting there? I counted 15 people that screwed up his line and barely even tried to move, or paddled up the face instead of at the whitewater. That would never fly at my break.

One of the most horribly over-crowded waves in the world .... sorry but this lovely little 3-minute, nicely cut video misses the truth ... you will spend your time out there thinking of how to get a wave off the other people. Like Snapper on the Gold Coast - crazy crowded and frustrating.
I was there a few months ago. Totally overrated and what a hassle with all those surfers dropping in, not getting out of the way. and the surf conditions weren't even really good.
I get you don’t wanna waste a wave if a surfer falls but sitting that close to the pocket causing surfers to dodge you is disrespectful in my eyes. People should be more patient and wait their turn to catch one out the back. Looks like an amazing day ruined by selfish people. No manoeuvres just dodging.
It’s a pretty chill break. Lots of beginners out there usually when I’m there. Can be pretty cooked when it gets busy. Just gotta relax and enjoy what you can. Still a good place to be 👌

This is a MASSIVE problem in Bali where I surf, but I suppose it happens everywhere. Lots of disrespect and/or cluelessness all round 😢
