Not sure if you said there's a way up the liner should go, sometimes there's an arrow on the side other wise see how it's wrapped and make sure the condense will stay in the pipe and not leak through it.
I dont know if I did say that, but if I didn't, I should have done it. installing the liner the wrong way round will significantly decrease its lifespan. Thank you for bringing it up 👍
Hi Nigel, It's very quiet there nowadays without the pigs squealing and tractors buzzing around. Not as many people about either. I saw your daughter won a pig award. That is very cool. Congratulations to her. You must be very proud 👏. What are up no now, still in the pig business?
I charge £250 + vat to drop them down the chimney and install the cowl at the top. The liner itself i never supply because the stove installer always does. I don't have the correct qualifications to connect up a liner to a stove, so my customers are generally the stove fitters who provide all of the materials.
@@dandan-cherrypicker-man With respect you are are fool, in my 35 + years in the trade I've seen 2 people thrown from the basket , 1 Paralysed & other spent months in spinal unit, but can walk with a stick & 1 who toppled out when leaning out too far. A full safety harness isn't expensive, but it might just save your life.
