This is Dino Dungeon Devlog #10! Here we will add new movement mechanics to the game. We will explore more advanced movement mechanics, focussing on verticality. We will implement Jump Pads, One Way Platforms, Ladders, Character Colliders, Double Jump, Wall Sliding, and Wall Jumping. With these different mechanics, we give players far more interesting locomotion options.
Dino Dungeon is a Puzzle Platformer with Local Multiplayer for up to 4 players.

the oneway platform solution for collider is genius!!
1:40 and that is why I love bendux
great devlog here! For the wallslide I think you should make character fall faster when nothing is touched and player can slow the fall by holding up key. Slow fall might get frustrating depending on your game's rythm. Keep going game looks very good.
The slow fall is activated by pushing into the wall, if you let go of the stick you will fall at the normal speed. In hind sight I should have elaborated on that more!
Those are some great mechanics! Love the progress on this bud 👍 Keep it up
thanks papi xo
Hello, a very interesting video that prepares you for level design. From now on I start to follow you. Greetings. :-)
Great video, neenaw! Thank you for mentioning my tutorial!
No problem, thanks for making solid tutorials!
I totally forgot I was subscribed to you but this is just so damn cool.
You're game is looking really good!

Great platforming mechanics here! This should be great for making levels.
Always good to see you in the comments Skeffles! Makes my dayyyy
in a few danis of time next video come out
don't do my like that 😭
Subbed!
I've got a question to ask - for the wall jump, what did you end up doing? A long time ago I attempted to make my own and it sucked, but yours looks great!
Thanks!
It was a pain, I glossed over it massively! So I need to detect the player is pushing **into** the wall, and then if they jump I take away control from the player and set the movement to the opposite direction for a set time.
When the dinos are on the ground the movement is snappy, you can stop and change direction instantly. But this felt bad in the air, especially when wall jumping. So I had to make momentum style movement whilst in the air.
Earned a subscriber from me, this looks really fun :)
