The Dino Dungeon Devlog #10. We will give the player a reason to utilize the new movement mechanics, in the form of deadly obstacles. In this video we implement cannons, explosions, saw blades, moving saws, swinging blades and maces, lava, and more.

Great use of assets for these obstacles! I love the dripping acid, having it near acid pools makes it feels like the acid can't be contained.
oh so cool! i think the player should sink in the lava and acid slowly when it touches it to add variety to the deaths. although that would be if the player wasnt touching the floor too
I love the white spiky ball! I hope to see some effects for all the weapons, giving them a more dramatic spin and swing!

What's the chance of you animating the chain so the mace doesn't look as stiff?
Great video neenaw! Love the new "dangers" you've implemented. If you take suggestions, how about despawning platforms, i.e. platforms that will disappear after a few seconds and then respawn. Also, how about non-lethal "dangers", for e.g. a snowball that slows your characters movement, or fire-ball that makes your character run left and right to try and put itself out (kind alike Mario lava). Just throwing ideas :)
