I recently discovered that I am allergic to fragrance. I have been trying to switch over to products that are fragrance free and it has been so difficult for me to find products I can use. This video is like gold! Thank you, thank you for sharing this and linking the products. This is going to be such a helpful resource for me and so many others. I can't thank you enough!
I’m also allergic to fragrances. You are the first person on UA-cam that I’ve found who has been so open about their allergy to fragrances. There was not a lot of people on this platform talking about fragrance allergies or fragrance free products a couple of years ago. But now there seems to be a fragrance free movement happening in the skincare industry that I hope is here to stay. We could use some more options of fragrance free products for our daily life necessities! Thank you for sharing! It helps to know that I’m not alone in this struggle. I have some product recommendations for you, too! For hair: check out the Seen Fragrance-free hair care line. I’ve tried the full line and it’s pretty good, but pricey. For sunscreen: try the Elta MD sunscreens; they have a variety of good ones that I think are all fragrance free. For lips: try the Blistex Simple and Sensitive. For makeup: I mostly use 100% Pure, but I also like Thrive, too! I haven’t tried their mascara, but it’s next on my list. These have worked really well for me. 🙃
This is EXACTLY why I wanted to share!I’m going to share some of my new discoveries soon too! & I’ll have to try some of your recommendations - thank you for sharing :)
Great lists!! I have an allergy to fragrance and the preservative in cosmetics and cleaning products. Your product list follows closely along with mine.
Oh my God, thank you. I have a fragrance allergy and really miss wearing makeup. It's also nice to hear you're allergic to toothpaste too! My dentist actually told me that Crest is safe for my allergies and most of them are. Thanks so much for your recommendations! Also had the same issue with gummy/thick shampoo. I use free & clear. It's OK, not irritating but doesn't always feel like my hair gets that clean. I use Arm & Hammer unscented deodorant. I don't know if it's "really" fragrance-free, it has talc, but I'm OK with it and the more natural fragrance-free products didn't do enough for me. Also I cannot use most eyeshadow. I'm not sure what ingredients in it I react to, but eyeshadow and powders on my face are like my kryptonite. They run into my eyes and make them sting really bad. Or just make my face congested.
Thank you for making this video! I was just diagnosed with a fragrance allergy and your video is the first video I found that was helpful 🤗 thank you! Probably a silly question, but do you avoid shaking people’s hands bc of lotions/perfumes/colognes they may have on. I’m kinda scared to and feel that I may touch my face after. Just wondering, or maybe I’m overthinking it.
Products I use right now: -Free and clear dandruff shampoo -Vanicream lite lotion and facial cleanser -earth science fragrance free shampoo and conditioner
This is amazing!! Not only for people with allergies, but I bet that these products are so much better for us and the environment 💕 I am definitely going to check out that laundry detergent and mascara because I’ve been looking to get different ones from the ones I am using now!
Great list!! Thank you so much for your time putting these products together. Really appreciate. 👏👏 Can you please suggest some products for lip balms / lip care.
What are you’re thought’s on cleaning with vinegar and baking soda? I have a fragrance allergy as well. I use that currently. It bothers me and doesn’t bother me at the same time. Advice? Cleaning products are so expensive!
I think i have this. Can u please make more video on perioral dermatitis. I need to cure it. I need ur help. I m suffering from this littele red bumps. It hurts a lot. I use a steroid crem for this. But it comes again and again. I m from a poor country and a poor family i don't have money to do my treatment. So please do vedio how i can treat this. I really need it. And as i am form another country so i can't have products of ur country. So plzz help me how i can get rid of perioral dermatitis permanently easy at home and i have oily skin.
I am so sorry! :( Steroid creams actually make this problem much worse- google steroid withdrawal of the skin. Learn to read labels and use the MOST BASIC skincare without common allergens in the ingredients.
Does the Bare Minerals makeup contains any fragrance at all, or that weird makeup smell? I’m super sensitive/allergic to everything with a scent/fragrance. Even somethings that say they are fragrance free but still have that chemical smell. Please & thank you so much!! :)
I have to try the No Nothing, I need a good fragrance free conditioner! Have you ever tried water based nail polish? I love Piggy Paint/Sophi brand, there’s almost zero odor at all, and it’s absolutely nothing like traditional nail polishes.
Hi! my skin is very bad because of the perioral dermatitis, what do you say, what i’m supposed to do with my skin? I tried everything, but nothing worked:( (sorry, my english is bad)
Great video, I find it's next to impossible to find fragrance free items. I'm right now searching for skin care products (acne cream, charcoal mask, exfoliant etc) I have tried Clinique but the chemicals they use have a perfumey smell so had to stop using them. Ugh!
I’m looking for a shampoo conditioner for oily hair won’t cause any hair loss or shedding and fragrance free sensitive scalp sulfate free no harsh chemicals
I’m not sure about maybelline for facial products! I know I use a maybelline CoverGirl Big Collosal waterproof mascara that I really like! A lot of Elf products are fragrance free too!
i’m not allergic to SLS. I was worried about it when my allergist told me it was safe for me, but it hasn’t irritated me and i’ve been using it for almost a year!
@@MagicWithMeg that's good, I don't know if I am but definitely cutting out for now, I have never been alergic to anything, i developed this PD out of the blue, will see what my derm says.

Not from my experience. I am also extremely allergic to anything fragranced, and it is a product on my list from my allergist!

Can you use a slice of lime/ lime juice as deodorant

Any flavored toothpaste has fragrance, so I'm confused. I'm not supposed to use flavored toothpaste anymore.
