When Fairy (Lisa Lambe) is summoned to the palace to help the princess sleep, her dream turns into a nightmare and her blessing becomes a curse.
Soon, she is plunged into a frantic, hundred-year quest to somehow make everything right.
Rufus Norris directs this vividly original retelling of the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ fairy tale with music by Jim Fortune, book by Tanya Ronder, designs by Katrina Lindsay and choreography by Jade Hackett.

Me too. Heard it on Elaine Paige. Show tunes normally leave me cold, it was just on while driving, but this really made me sit up - and tear up; just the quality of her voice had me in bits.

We are very excited!
We saw Hex today at the National Theatre and were blown away. The theatre was packed with adults and children who clearly loved it. The songs, performances and staging were all first class.

Lovely song but seemed the high strings and high notes in her voice were competing for space as the song came into crescendo. Just what I heard but otherwise beautiful.
