The agile high torque 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine delivers 225 kW (306 hp), which is variably distributed to all four wheels via the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and the all-wheel drive. The sporty driving performance (acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds) is linked with a wide spread of the driving experience - from very sporty to comfortable on long journeys.

I like the ”A” for the shorter wheelbase/length.
A 35 amg is subtle and elegant in blue with good sound and overall package .cla 35 has aggressive sporty looks , sporty fake leather seats , basically more on a sporty side than A 35 sedan .the only advantage of cla 35 is rear leg room which is more but the limited head room is a problem for tall people .A 35sedan fits perfect in that front. I pick the A35sedan bcoz of elegance and decent design with good sound and interior which is better than audi s3 .

I like them both equal but the A35 is slightly cheaper, so it would be my choice

Matter of taste CLA for me is like Mazda is having baby with old 1990's Mitsubishi Galant "Shark" or here in Indonesia called as Mitsubishi Hiu (Indonesian for Shark)

It seems the AMG A35 is no longer being produced in the USA. Only '21 models are still around.
I want to get A35 so bad cuz it's look sport car than CLA35, it's make no sense in Canada they sell both and Europe sell both model, only US don't
What is the point in having two cars in the range which are virtually the same? The CLA is slightly prettier (at the rear - that is the only bit that is different) but what advantages does the sedan have (apart from pricing - probably)?
A Class has alot more Rear Passenger head room, also more trunk space then the cla.
It’s just cosmetic tbh. Someone who likes a coupe can buy the CLA, or if you’re more of a Sedan or Saloon lover, go for the A Class.
To put things up straight, my dad would buy the A35, I would go for the CLA

Rear badge placement is odd to me. I like the location of the traditional Benz placement
