I met Mr George out at the pool at a hotel outside San Diego. We were the only 2 there & he sat with me and visited for about 30 minutes. This was in the late 80's. It was quite an experience for me. Very friendly guy...
I met George Kennedy in Buenos Aires, on November, 1979. I was at high school and I went specially to talk with him, which I did. He was happy to talk with someone about his old movies. He was a huge wardrobe in front of me and I cannot believe that James Arness was taller than him. He seems to be short when the camera tokk them from profile. jcf.
Cool! I have always been a fan of George Kennedy. James Arness too. Both huge men and, from what I understand, very nice men too. Tough choice for Kitty. Lol.
@@GuyjKiteThanks, I knew he looked familiar. Was it an episode where his character had a third eye in his forehead? Don't know why but that sounds right to me. Buy I could be wrong.
@@thesixshooter6506 yes that is correct. Also he had a bit part on the Andy Griffith show. He played a bad guy. Barney was righting him a ticket .state police showed up. He tried to run and got tangled up with Barney. He was captured and said I'm gonna get you deputy.
the bartender was in the twilight zone episode ''will the real martian please stand up'', he was in theCOLUMBO episode ''suitable for framing''. and most likely a lot of other things.
I can't remember. But, after watching this, I don't like his chances. You don't tug on Superman's cape, you don't spit into the wind, you don't pull the mask off the 'ol' Lone Ranger, and you don't mess around with Kitty. I think that was in a song once.
The great George Kennedy. One of my favorite character actors who never disappointed. He appeared in several Gunsmoke episodes... seven in fact.

Wow, cool. I've heard that about him.
His role in Cool hand Luke is unforgettable.
Maybe his best!! Great actor.
@@tomlawler5850 And Thunderbolt and lightfoot.
@@Mark-td5ux he could play the bad guy or the good guy!
Versatile actor who could do it all.
Even in real life the guys who say you don't scare me always do it leaving
I usually wait and do it over the phone.
Don’t have TV shows like that anymore
Which is why I still watch an episode every night. :)
@@pnantais1111My type of guy. I'll buy ya a beer at the Longbranch.
The don't make to many actors like that any more either.
Two big guys but the marshal can turn into the Thing
Lol... yes. George Kennedy was a big man himself, but James Arness almost made him look like Pee-wee Herman.
I like the earlier Gun smoke shows better than the later episode
The 1/2 hour B&W episodes were the best.
Yes, the earlier half-hour episodes were "tighter"... got to the point faster I think.

The bar tender appeared on the twilight zone.

He probably kept an eye on what was available.
Love George Kennedy! Always good!
One of the best.
That’s the guy on twilight zone with a third eye
You're absolutely correct. The diner server.
From Venus if I remember right.
I thought the same thing when I saw him!
@@Daniel-nr6iwI heard he moved to Venus after tangling with Matt Dillon. Now THAT'S gettin' outta Dodge!
Yes it was!
Did George Kennedy ever have hair?
He did early on. www.pinterest.com/pin/366621225894951927/
Yes. But one more punch like that and he might not have a head to grow it on.
So, what happens next. Does he leave Dodge alive?
No Bad guy ever does.

All these people are too crean, shaven, women look like if they are going to the waldor astoria etc even the bartender!
The Marshal ran a clean town. And this was before the advent of casual Friday too.
Season 6
Obviously George Kennedy hadn't seen the first five or he never woilda rode into Dodge.
A few years before old George was dodging missiles in a Concorde….😆
George aka joe patroni Kennedy
if i was george, i would be more worried about the bartender than matt,,, he is from venus and has 3 eyes,,,i seen it on the twilight zone
