Bring back gunsmoke. You can find new look alike actors. It will be a success. So many people can't be wrong. Thank you for keeping alive this good memories
I think you're wrong. It's impossible to replicate chemistry between actors on a successful series. There are too many examples that prove it, shows that failed trying to copy the success of the original version. It's called chemistry. Can you or anyone else name me a show that succeeded like that, that tried to copy the original and equalled its success, enjoyment, and quality??
We keeping those actors actress alive. The best show on TV today is gunsmoke with Matt and kitty and all of them. Thank for your wonderful work. We keeping rallying
Some great guest stars here - Warren Oats, Jim Davis, Ben Johnson, Victor French - hard to name an actor from the 1950's-1970's who didn't appear at least once.
One of my favorite Festus lines "you make me so mad I could just smoke a pickle". My wife says that to me all the time now and she doesn't even watch the show with me. Lmao.
Absolutely, loved these various clips of Gunsmoke! They brought back alot of memories, plus some laughs and smiles. Also, enjoyed your first show, as well. 🐎

That would be nice. Unfortunately time machines don't exist. Appears the only thing that will get us back there is a worldwide catastrophe that only a few survive. Then we can get back to survival of the fittest.
I like the first scene where the preacher says all those fine things at a funeral about a deceased scoundrel. Chester asks, Is this the same guy I knew who was a essentially a lazy, shiftless moonstaker/thief (words to that effect). Matt Dillon says, "Chester that was while he was still alive." The writers for Gunsmoke were outstanding at their craft. Many of these shows were originally on radio programs. So the television show had much tried out material to work with from the radio shows. How often do we run into real life people in our ordinary world everyday who act almost exactly like these characters while watching Gunsmoke reruns? The one liners in these shows are great too.
I know a lady who after hearing the words of a priest at graveside was fit to be tied. "God bless and forgive Father Meza for all his kind words for Mendoza but he was lying up a storm even Moses couldn't tame. Mendoza was a drunken, mean, profane, womanizing, shiftless son of a bitch! If Father Meza lies like that at my funeral I may rise outta my casket and grab him by his scrawny throat." With that she took a good sip of her strong coffee.
Thanks, Oh Shaw, once again you picked some great lines and scenes, and put them together into another great video! Looking forward to the next one! I'll be rewatching this one for a while though.

Of all the favorite characters of mine in Gunsmoke one of the ones that was hardly ever mention was Louis he lasted so long on the show Gunsmoke and made so many different changes as his character changed. Yet the man who played Louie was I believe darn good actor who portrayed a drunk most of the time and he was so very endearing and compassionate caring person the character Louis.
