Sigma and Zero’s scenes sent shivers down my spine. Their tragic stories are often overlooked in the series.
Jonny Yong Bosch is best VA.
Sigmas story has always been CRITICALLY overlooked. Hell, almost all X fans forgot what happened to him since hes the biggest antagonist
[Spawn] 100% agree. Fans and Capcom got to remember Sigma was once a HERO. The best there was. With him around there wasn’t even a big need for X. I wish before Sigma bit the big one for good in X8 we got to see a glimmer of his old self come back.
Hell, most overlooked even in the immediate fandom is that, at that moment, Sigma the reploid no longer existed. It was just the virus walking around in his body wearing his identity until his first death let it loose.
Sasquatcho Agreed except that the Maverick Virus didn’t take Sigma over per se. Sigma was built with the perfect Maverick countermeasures, so the virus instead began to adapt and evolve within him, and the two essentially merged. While the virus had a large part in the decisions he made afterward, Sigma himself had evolved and also “made” the decision himself.

The MMZ artbook went into the specifics, and identified the true cause of the Maverick effects to be the Suffering Circuit, or rather the _breaking_ of the Suffering Circuit. X's is the only one that's impregnable in that regard, Sigma's was ruined and it does the same to any reploid it infects. Just the consequences of making the reploid race out of what's essentially a Chinese bootleg compromise for X's schematics.

I think its unanimous that Gea Armor is the one which needs the greatest overhaul.
Heart Container fits its share and Charged Shot could be "fixed" by giving X more tools to play around it.
Still I've heard a couple of nice ideas around on how to buff X's Arts, so the only thing left its wait and see.
