- On this episode I take you on a Tour of this incredible Nursery here in San Diego. They have a huge assortment of vegetables which you won't find anywhere else. There are other good nurseries but none compare to the magnitude of choices you have here. You can find rare and uncommon veggies as you browse the isles. They also have a large selection of fruit trees as well. I do my shopping and show you what to look for and how to get some good deals.

You were in heaven my friend!!👍and taste test before buy 😂😂 great my friend!
Yes plant heaven. Haha. I was tempted to buy so many things. Yes taste before by is the best if you can. That's the best if possible.
You should just direct sow peas and beans, they grow fast, that’s probably why people aren’t buying those. Direct seed will have a stronger healthier root system too. The over grown ones are like that because they’re getting less sun too. (In regard to the kale) so they may initially burn if put in a spot with a lot of sun when planted.
Yeah I agree to start from seed since it is pretty easy with beans and peas.
Meet the family that owns this place. W A is the best
Is that right. Cool. Yes it is great everytime I go there is something new.
Im jealous!😳
I had a hard time not buying everything
Did I miss where you listed which nursery this is?
No problem. This is Walter Anderson's Nursery. It was on the video but I should have put that in description.
We an't got any good nurserys in Tennessee.
Awww I am sorry about that. They need to open one up out there. Maybe in the bigger cities might have good nursery there.
I don’t purchase any of my vegetable plants. I grow them in my growing room under growing lights. A lot cheaper buying a few packets of seed than spending a lot of money for plants.
That's a good idea to start under lights especially when its cold. I also do the same but I am behind on my planting and some rodents ate some of my garden. Yes I agree it saves a lot of money when grow from seed. Lately I have been harvesting seeds as well so I don't even have to buy the packets.
True but buying trees is a lot faster
