Undeniably superb. By far one of the best adaptions of the story. There was so much to like. I enjoyed the presence of the diesels in the background; it helped to emphasise the trucks initial dislike for Donald when they called him an old fashioned steam kettle. Though every set of trucks has a preference as Percy and Oliver learned the hard way. Good to see you're still making videos!
Thank you so much! That means quite a lot to me. Chris Awdry's annual stories are some of his best, and this one's appeal to me is that it's such a simple little mishap! And of course anything with trucks is always a fun endeavour. Glad you enjoyed it man!
I swear, I could watch this again and again. I don't even know what else there is to be said... well, except that I enjoyed the creative touch of the "breakaway" trucks cackling as they chase after Donald and his first few trucks down Gordon's Hill. I mean, I know that I myself would have portrayed that scene in very much the same way. ;)
Thank you dude, that makes me really happy to hear! Always loved how mischievous the trucks were and sometimes I think people forget how troublesome they really were. I don't doubt they would be absolutely delighted (at first)!
That was superb my friend! I enjoyed every minute ^^ maybe not the extra 2 mins to wait for it to start haha XD Nothing can be faulted, the sound effects were spot on, cues and music were used perfectly and the shots were nicely shot ^^ You really gave this a classic Thomas vibe and speaking as a old fart of a fan XD I love that! for example love the shots of the trucks I really got a classic vibe from those =). I also love the added activity at Edwards station, added to the tension ^^ A really enjoyable video my friend! I look forward to more in future ^^
From one old fart to another, I'm thrilled that you liked it! I originally first shot the hill of the bridge at the bottom of Gordon's Hill, and after that I just couldn't help myself! Lol. Cheers!
@@GWShunter Your very welcome my friend! ^^ I really look forward to more from you in future. I'm glad you didnt stop yourself then mate XD it proved to be the right decision. Also I forgot to add I loved the scene at the station with the chatter between the crew about the breaks.... trying to hear what they are saying XD haha again fantastic work my friend!
this is soupy from before the video premieres, my sleep schedule is so messed up that i don't know if i'll make it to the premiere but if i miss it, i am sorry man
Is it bad that I have no words to really describe this? Cuz I just really enjoyed it. I adore the extra effort put into this, from various truck faces, Duck shunting around Wellsworth, extra sound effects to punctuate the chaotic trucks, and I really liked that set for the Other Railway,. Most people never really use anything custom, myself included :D
Thank you very much! This was done in the spur of the moment for fun, so I'm glad you enjoyed those touches I put. Admittedly though, the Other Railway set was made (I think? At least he GAVE it to me) by my buddy Duncan, which I should have credited him for now that I think about it. I DID however make the works station set! It's nice having unfamiliar settings to break up the monotony from time to time, much like they did in the original series. Again, thanks a ton!
Donald and Douglas came to Sodor as a resident in 1959 and I am presuming this event took place around the time. BoCo didn’t arrive at Sodor until 1965 and he couldn’t be a part time resident before as Duck was skeptical of BoCo when he came to Sodor due to Diesel.
Chipmunk trucks - hehehehe. I've noticed all the open vehicles in the video are of the Season 1 style too because of the railings above their faces. This should've been a Season 3 episode surely

@@GWShunter, hold up. I have a question. Will you upload twin trouble as your next trainz remake?
@@GWShunter do how to close train controls

5:37 in that moment the troublesome trucks feel the real terror
Smashing job! The S1-2 feel is really nailed down there with the SFX and music!
Amazing adaptation of the Annual story! The camera angles are awesome!
Super Job, Laddie! My favorite T&F Character ever in my favorite Annual Ever! ^^
I love it! The sfx have gotten a lot better! Keep up the good work
This is easily the best adaptation of this story. Love the reactions of Douglas, Duck and BoCo rather than just having Donald in it.
Love how the intro has no dialogue. Definitely makes this (already great) remake feel more fresh

Fine work from all involved.
Duck was almost hit by Donald in this episode.

This is Matt from before the premiere that is ok, go get some Z's and fix your sleep schedule young man
Donald and the breakaways is a funny episode from Thomas and Friends.

“Accidently on purpose”
Makes no sense
Donald was mad when the trucks bothered him.
Outstanding Story!
Cracking job!
That Looks Like An Episode In Season 2 Because of The Runaway And It’s Almost Like A Close Shave
My friend Grace Yang likes this episode.

great job of making original thomas stories
