@@AstroSayn Preemptive Strike is why I don't use Sharp Gunlance anymore, my Chaos build is packed with single hit, high damage AoEs. Like, instead of the double leap stomp, I have the single one that does a smidge more damage in one hit. Shield Shock is also single hit.
Honestly Level 1 Preemptive Strike has been working fine for me. Automatic Crit on those hard hitting abilities still always kills stuff. Can just get a cheap ability stone instead of eating a bunch of books - ability stones with preemptive strike don't seem to cost a lot. As someone else mentioned I haven't been using Sharp Gunlance for this same reason. Sharp doesn't kill by itself, just steals the auto-crit from the other abilities that I will need to use after sharp gunlance.

No problem! I am glad you enjoyed! From what I understand engravings dont play an important role in chaos dungeons so mainly people just keep the same ones they are already using ( like blue build or red build engravings)
I find myself only need Surge Cannon, Charge Stinger, Shout of Hatred and Nellasia's Energy. I'm at 1325 with lvl 3 Rotation Barrage with 10% cool down reduction gem on Surge Cannon, my cd is about 3 second... I just Nell to SC, and Shout to SC and identity to SC on the first phase, 2nd phase just rotate Nell to SC and Shout to SC. and just charge stinger the boss of phase 2. Also, after I tried both, I think High Explosive Shot is better than Scatter Shot because the longer reach, higher damage per shot too. even tho there seems to be gap in between for HES, but actually everything got hit within the reach.
That sounds like a pretty good build actually ! I think there are so many different variations you can go for chaos dungeons I'll have to give yours a try
Why didn't you mentioned the " Preemptive Strike " engraving ? This is the best thing you could look for to clear your chaos dungeons very quickly and very easily, and it's dirt cheap too

Nice Build, just a quick advice though , use Lvl 3 Engraving Preemptive Strike. One hit kill.

I've noticed the shield shaves off very fast. If I am level 50, but skill points are less than 280points, which skills should I prioritize first?
