the fun part of osu!mania is that a top player from another vsrg can manifest from the void and get top 10 in a few hours cause they've been playing vsrgs for multiple decades
25:24 mania vibro players can do that (1/64ths). Sujak and MTSung are some of the players that have handcam gameplay on UA-cam. destimb also has (faster) non-handcam gameplay. Theres also a lot of chinese vibro players I think but idk much about them because I'm not a vibro player in any way. Either way mania vibro makes Ivaxa's singletapping look pretty unimpressive
@@geeseofcheese Yeah I totally agree with that. I think vibro and singletapping have somewhat different techiniques afaik so really I'm just talking about tapping speed on a surface level within the context of osu!.
Yeah ivaxa's vibro compared to the good vibro players in mania isn't too crazy but yeah aiming makes all the difference here and ivaxa is the only one who actually developed the physicality to do that in osu lol.

for a better explanation on simple mania patterns with mostly common editor snaps rather than straight terminology imagine a map at 300 bpm, the jumps would be on 1/2 snap, and any streams would be 1/4 snap in standard you have the option to singletap or alternate jumps, at such a high bpm most people would alternate it in mania, jacks at this bpm would typically charted on 1/2, same as jumps (people will either call it 300 bpm or 150 bpm jacks both are basically the same 300 would just be assumed to be 1/2 snap and 150 would be assumed to be 1/4) * the main difference between jacks in mania and jumps in standard is that in standard you have the option to alternate, whilst in mania you must singletap jacks because they are multiple notes on the same column this makes very high bpm jacks extremely difficult as dense 180 chordjack (1/4 snap) would require a similar amount of physicality you would need to singletap a 180 bpm stream in standard 7 key also makes chordjack a lot harder because of the extreme finger control requirement on top of the raw physicality, as hitting the wrong key would likely hit the note on the next chord early giving you a 50 or a miss which is much more likely to happen when theres 7 columns * chords are a blanket term for doubles, triples, or quads, (basically anything above 2 notes at the same time because 7 key can have up to 7 notes at the same time, it would still be a chord) chordjacks are just jacks but with more finger control and breaks between the fingers, 300 bpm chordjacks would be different chords on 1/2 snap very high density chordjack such as 300bpm quad triple quad triple quad etc is somewhat equivalent to singletapping 300bpm jumps in standard, the main difference is that in mania there is just extra fingercontrol and you are maintaining that speed on both hands due to the note density streams in mania are 1/4 snap but mapped in a way in which there arent two notes on the same column in too quick of succession, otherwise it would create a very hard minijack (minijacks are specifically 2 notes on the same column in quick succession) streams can technically create 1/2 snap jacks (jumpstream/handstream) but theres just extra notes between the chords on 1/4 lines, the main thing is the avoidance of any 1/4 minijacks also another term uses in the followpoint post thats specific to 7 key is bracket brackets are alternating chords that dont create minijacks each number is a column: imagine 1,3,5 followed by 2,4,6 followed by 1,3,5 again, that would be a bracket so brackets would be like hitting a stream in standard but with a lot more fingers hope this helps
@@nullieee Still, pp wise he is only a 4 digit in 4k mode and there is no person in earth than thinks he is better at 4k that myuka or other top 4k players bro
pp doesn't really matter much for these players compared to std. mania farm maps are all short ln dense trills. top players usually play graveyard maps or convert maps from other games like o2jam or bms
@@nullieee The original comment isn't trying to dispute the fact that dressurf is ranked #1 in osu!mania. Most mania players consider different keymodes practically separate gamemodes. In particular, 4k and 7k are so different that if you're #1 in 7k, you can still be 4-digit in 4k (as the other commenter pointed out), and vice versa. That's not something a non-mania player would know so the rank #1 title can be misleading. dressurf is not the best mania player at every keymode. (His top 100 plays are all 7k). But he does have the most PP because of how the mania star rating system works. High star 4k maps are way less accessible than equal-difficult 7k maps. For comparison, the pp record for 4k is only around 1200pp, while the 7k record is well over 1800pp. Myuka (myucchii, rank #92) is the best 4k player by a long shot and has a 1.6k pp gap over the next-best 4k player (invadey at rank #154). The rest of the top 100 are all 7k players. After the upcoming LN nerf, Myuka will be rank #75. It's not that he's not good enough at the game to be higher-ranked, it's that osu!'s star rating system fails to account for completely different skillsets keymode-wise (which is fine for now; mania players care much less about pp than standard players in general). also, 1k, 2k, and 3k maps cannot be ranked under the current system, but 4-10K, 12K, 14K, 16K, and 18K are all ranked.
