Awesome design and build, and a needed product by the community. Clearly well thought out and engineered. I think your going to be swamped with interest. Well done Sir.
@@simple-controls5507Hi. I am not fortunate enough to have means or someone with a 3D printer. Is there someone who can physically make and assemble these nice units for sale? Thank you. Have a great and safe day. -- Matthew
Hi JD - great job and YES, those small group of heli controller designers are absolutely crazy with their prizes... I'm too very interested in getting one of your fantastic collectors. Due to having a 3d printer as well i can imagine to take a kind of DIY kit and print the plastic parts myself. Anyway: would be nice to get in contact ^^. Best from Berlin - JP
This is a right sexy design! Two questions... First...any chance of a set of printed instructions? Easier to do assembly stuff away from the computer. Second...Any chance of a UH-60 Head?
First of all, congratulations on the excellent work. I am a helicopter lover and would like to acquire or build a collective; any chance of purchasing or acquiring a construction scheme? Compliments, Carlos
Hi, are you still building these collective? I would be interested. Please advise if you are even if the prices gone up because of materials that’s fine let me know. Thank you.
Hello!... hope all is well. I'm interested in purchasing one of your collective USB controller. It's very impressive. Please let me know the cost. I await your reply. Thank you!
Hey there. love the collective. wondering if you are still making some of these. Also I'd be keen to know how long the extension is on your thrustmaster warthog stick. Was thing of getting a gooseneck 40cm.
Hello, can you explain to me how you made the sign with the inscription? what material? I have a Snapmaker 2.0 a250 and also want to make scratch resistant signs with lettering. thanks, Andre
Tried to find a way to DM you couldn’t find one from my phone but it is a beautiful design and I am very interested and the 200+ dollars sounds very reasonable What a way to turn a need into something awesome
I built one for $200; fairly sure I can do it for even cheaper. I totally agree with you -- I'm getting a lot of these on my feed now because the commercially available ones are outlandishly overpriced. And I think it's because the market is tiny and the pool of suppliers is even tinier so supply and demand is all out of whack. Nice design though, thumbs up.
Hi JD, amazing work! I too are working on my own collective, paddle and cyclic. However, the "balancing" mechanism is a tough question for me here. Do you mind share some technique how you achieve this? Thanks!
Hi, great, just working on my own collective. Would you care to share you have solved the problem of friction? This is something I cannot figure out... EDIT: I saw your other videos - it is freaking clever! Thank you for the inspiration!
doesn't seem Like a lot is happening with this these days. I know you put a lot of effort in this project and I myself would love to build it. Are you willing to release your design? I know you mentioned on the DCS forum that you were revising it for multiple head units, Any status for us on that ?
Hi, my dad was a CH-47 Pilot for the Army, he started out in the UH-1 he was also a test pilot. I have got him to fly the DCS UH-1 but he hates not having a collective gets frustrated and stops. I would like to purchase one of these for him. I am willing to spend 400 dollars, if you would be willing to make one, i can see this takes time so I would like to pay you what you feel is fair. Thank you for your time.
I think this is wonderful I live in the UK and would love to buy one please. I think I am not supposed to put my email on here. So will leave it to you to put your contact on.
The brakes aren't in the toes or the nose of a tiltrotor, but in the collective; as you can roll the aft collective grip to do pull left or right with the brakes in the grip or lock in and serve both brakes to a halt. Need you add pedals to which you add only flaps.
@hueyfoo No, not given up. Use it a couple times a week. Have built a button box, FFB yoke and pedals, and am currently working on a 182rg VR motion cockpit. Couldn't do any of those things if I spent all my time making collective. That's why I put all the files on Thingiverse and the. Build videos here. Go buy a used original Snapmaker and make your own. It will cost less than any commercial collective out there. I have a Snapmaker A250 that I'm selling for $400. Be a maker, not a whiner.
Watching this 4 years later and hoping you still make these. Would love to purchase. Thanks for sharing.
This is beautiful... I wish you will make more...Please consider... I'll buy one, for sure. Thanks for your hard work and ingenuity. Regards.
