Hey Guys RivalBoss here,
Sorry been slow on posting a new video, but I did find something very different. This image will fit on a 32GB image, and is an arcade game only build. This one doesn't have the rom count of some of the other images. So why download, and check it out? Well if you're looking for a top quality image with custom screen for each rom, and custom loading screens. This image is for you! And it really does have almost everything you would want in a arcade cab image. Mortal Kombat? Yeppers, Capcom 1,2,3,? Check! SNK yes sir. Really well put together. It even has Robotech arcade games which can be hard to find. Check out The Dynamo Arcade!

It really is a good image hope they come out with 64 and 128 gb images. Will be downloading those in a heartbeat with all this noce custom art.

Which image do you recommend for old school vertical arcade image? I'm in process of modding one player Arcade1up Galaga, along with standard Street Fighter machines using Pi.

how do I configure buttons? In Street fighter the jab is strong..?
@@plaidigloo Your wiring is likely just different then mine. In main menu press Player 1 (hopefully or keep hitting buttons till you find main menu options then near the bottom you will see configure input. Click that then hold a button and press the buttons that you want to assign. If you need to skip one hold down the button you assigned to "A" until it skips

I am running a raspberry pi 3 b+ . I fine that the normal B has some slow down on some roms. Not a deal breaker but for the money just get the B+

Badass! Can you show how to add more games/consoles to this image?
I mean you would just have to connect it to your wifi and then move it to corrrct folder. Note it wouldnt have the art thought. Hopefully these guys make a bigger image soon, but currently that is all they have. I really like this image.
@rivalboss I was curious about this image, it is a great image and I agree it's one of the best I've seen. My question is for this one, is there a way to add more ROMs to it? I felt it was missing a few games that I liked: Marvel vs. Capcom 1 & 2, X-men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs Street Fighter, and the Hacked version of Hyper Street fighter II. Is there a way to add this to this image and if so you got a video on how to add ROMs to an existing image?
Really like the look of this, but damn shame that a game that I like playing Alot on my cab "Wrestlemania" will not boot... Also found 16 other games that wouldnt boot.... I'm on the search for another image

Quick question I dont really like the street fight games . Mostly because I suck at them. Can I remove them from this build or will it screw up the build?
Nope just connect to the pi via wifi, and find the roms in correct rom folder. If you delete them in folder they will disappear from menu.
Working on a 4 player mod, do you know if the Konami 4 player game ROMs (TMNT, Simpsons) are the 4 player ROMs or the 2 player ROMs?

Sadly I am not sure. My guess is it only works on Pi I just don't know much about the xarcade tankstick
Rival Boss the xarcade tankstick is just a fightstick controller. Super good quality and would be awesome if it was compatible with the pi!
I have recently discovered it is compatible with the pi. I have it up and running even with trackball games. 🙌🏻 just fyi!
It works fine with Pi. I got mine hooked up.
You definately need to overclock your pi it slows up with all those images going on
You loaded up 19xx and it's not displaying at the correct aspect...that was a vertical game and this is stretched horizontally. This happens for all the vertical games and I can't figure out how to fix it. Playing Pac-man or Donkey Kong or Galaga stretched looks like garbage. Are you aware of a way to fix that? Would love to know. Thanks!
so how were you able to integrate this image into the ARCADE1UP machine? Did you have to buy additional hardware for this?

Should I use a 32GB microSD? Is it big enough for additional save files?
Its always a good idea to go bigger save files are fairly small but you may want to add a rom or something at some point

This was labeled as an instructional video, Is there a video on how to install this? After i downloaded the torrent it's actually 22 rar files, what do i do with them, extract them each individually or how do i get them onto the sd card?
Hey I am not sure about the 22 rar files that seems high but it shouldn't matter if it is complete. Just 22 parts seems like alot. Most times files are divided into like 5 to 10 parts tops depending on the size of the image. Watch this video for a different image I did. Rival Boss i think i figured it out, all the files were the exact same size and i thought it was just duplicate files, i didn't realize they all had to be unzipped together to make one large file, I'm in the process of flashing it right now so hopefully all goes well thank you so much for getting back to me and if i have any issues I'll check your other video to see if it helps

I installed this image and wanted to add a couple roms that weren't in the initial build. I installed the roms via wifi but after rebooting i cant find the roms. Can you help?
Did you put them into correct folders retroarch understands?
@@ValkyrieVewas I downloaded super mario bros for n64 . I put it in the n64 folder, rebooted the system but nothing. Could it be that there isnt a n64 folder on the main build in arcade mode?
Does this have Mortal Kombat 1-4?
I believe it does. I can try to rememver to boot it up later to make sure but i remember seeing a few mortal kombats

I mean i could but honesly just no time currently. I work 40 plus hours a week currently while my wife is in school. This image has many of those though.
I've downloaded this and when booting it show the intro video, but then the monitor turns off. Can anyone help me?
May want to reburn it, and then just let it sit for a while on first boot. This maybe one of those images that needs to decompress. Even in my video its black for a bit.
@@ValkyrieVewas I figured it out! The problem was with my cooler on GPIO! It was causing the reboot!
How can you add scan lines to all the games.?
Depending on the image, most times you can add them via Retroarch setting in game.
anyone have problems running strider 2 on this image?
How do I change the controls
Im guessing youre talking about attach mode? Figure out which button is left trigger will have a menu pop up then go to controls then you will have to change things to your liking, this may take some time also note you will want to also set your buttons in game by bringing up retroarch menu (coin(Select) button plus x at same time) just keep hitting select and face buttons should pop up then find controls again.

Which rom you trying to run, and are you on a B or B plus?
I have the same issue on a B+. Locks up sometimes or loses sound if moving too fast through game selection.

@@fredsmith7964 Maybe not fully compatible with B+, but I mean that is what I am running and it isn't doing this.
@@Hehehehe._ huh, i mean i played about 6 hours on it last night in about 12 games. Only thing that happened was one game has a none working rom in the shoot em up category. I think it may be your mirco sd card. What brand and or speed is it?
Why would you want to put on all that nintendo and sega crap on a arcade cabinet. That shit was meant to be played with a controller. Arcade games are meant to be played on a arcade cabinet. That's my opinion!
May want to try the all arcade rom image. Its 32gb i have a video on my channel or can link you when i get home.
