Definitely more than 2 days in Ohrid if you want to explore the Ohrid Lake coastline. From the city to St Naum, I’d say there’s 25 miles of coast, and there’s so so much to see. The Bay of Bones, several monasteries, churches, some of which can only be accessed by boat..
I found this video to be very useful for my upcoming trip.. Thank you for sharing your tips.. The little unknown towns do end up being surprisingly charming don't they? Cheers.
When in Ohrid, visit 'Sveti Naum' (Saint Naum) Monastery. You can go by boat which, a few years ago, cost me 600 denars, approx. 16 AUD. This is includes an hour's ride to the Monastery in the morning and the ride back in the afternoon. At the Monastery's (entry fee a couple of $) you'll see the colourful and albino peacocks, and breathtaking panoramic views of the lake. For a few $ you can take a boat ride up the river which flows in Lake Ohrid AND you can fill your water bottle because the water is so clean! You can lunch at the beautiful restaurants, visit the row of authentic (mostly) souvenir cottages and go for a swim and laze about on the beautiful lounges. PLEASE remember the boats to the Monastery are large and specifically say they go there. DON'T mistake other boats which only take you around the shoreline for 30-60 min. charge you 600 denars - and you've virtually seen nothing you can see from land.
Hey, you mentioned that a PCR covid test is sufficient at the borders between the Balkans countries. Does it have to be less than 72 hours validity? Thanks

No prejudice at all against anybody. On my last trip a few years ago I saw lots of Asian, Indian, African American tourists. Trust me it's a safe and beautiful city. I went to Sveti Naum Monastery by boat and met a few African American tourists and we all had a ball!!!

No doubt, Macedonia is much much better than Serbia.
You wish. Serbia The MVP :D ♥
Both countries are beautiful, I met the most wonderful people in both Serbia and Macedonia.
Hahahaha.
Old serbia better than serbia
go home , don't back
North Mazedonia is Albanian 🇽🇰🇦🇱
Never say that while in north Macedonia 🇲🇰 for your safety
Only Macedonia. Albanians are only maybe 15% maximum of the country.
300 children a year go missing in Albania so who would want to go there .
