Another nice video thank you my friend.. I just ordered a dozen fairing screws and washers as spares as I’m always loosing them. Fantastic your clocking up so many miles proving the reliability of this motor.
Gotta keep a fresh supply. McMaster Carr is also a good source. It’s a good motor, but time to check the valves again…. sounds like a coffee can of screws at redline. How many miles are you at?
@@FancyAnimal embarrassingly under 10k the riding season hasn’t been underway for long up here in Canada. Bike is much improved since the upmap and slipon though… smooth power delivery and a little more grunt between 5-8k. Not arm ripping but a big improvement. I used to also ride to work every day but the city roads here have just got worse and worse, all single lanes and construction everywhere so it no longer makes sense. In the old days I used to put on at least 20k a year riding but no longer. Have your valves ever been out of wack? Great to see more content my favourite channel but I’m sure your very busy with life and other endeavours , stay well
Good video, I used Oberon on my ktm 1290, I back used a syringe to back bleed it, it’s nice to see proper mileage on one of these bikes, it’s a good reference for prospective used buyers, are you going to take this bike all the way to 💀?
Excuse me trying to skip a googling but how in the flying hell does that SAE to metric conversion work?! I get X times 16 but where did the other number come from? Awesome trick
Fancy I’m missing your content I hope all is well with you. Couple of things I bought my old 998 back and have been enjoying that. Still have and use the 1199s. Yesterday it overheated as it was very hot and the fan didn’t come on, Red square fan warning light and yellow engine light, all went out when stopped and cooled down. Have you experienced this? I know you have a manual fan switch so maybe you don’t have this challenge

Are you still in the Bay Area? Cool to meet up at Alice's.
Lost track of your ownership videos..was persuing UA-cam and came upon your starter Replacement video.. Ricks Motosports starters are GREAT !! Great OEM replacement electrical parts. Rick did all the prototyping at a friend of mines dealership -- BCM., using his various models . BCM went out of biz about 15 yers ago.. FYI : Owner moved down to Stockton, NJ runs a small Ducati / MV Augusta performance shop there . The Ricks starters are hi-torque, weigh less than OEM Denso.. which is why you hear it spinning up rapidly.. far far better than OEM.. I had to install one on my 999 after installing a BCM 102mm overbore kit w/ 13.5:1 HC Pistal pistons.. and a ton of other goodies .. added a Motolectric cable kit, etc.. Not a huge fan of Oberon.. I like to stick w/ like kind and quality, Ducati Performance or Ducati corse parts.. good to see you still own your Panigale 1199 !!!!
Great vid o FA! I'm taking the liberty of asking for your help, on a different topic than the video (sorry in advance...)... I accidentally - and very stupid, for that matter - put diesel on my Ducati 899 🫣 and as I didn't notice the stupid mistake, I drove out of the gas station. Obviously, after a few minutes, the bike choked up and I had to pull over. Only at that point I understood what I had done, so I called a toe truck to take the bike home. Only a few days later I had the time to work on the bike and I pumped all the diesel out with a manual pump. Then added some petrol, and I've been trying to start the bike since, but unfortunately with no success. Can you please give me some pointers, or suggestions what I should do next?... Again, sorry to bother and thank you so much. Cheers, from the other side of the Atlantic, Portugal
There’s always at least one pickle poser in the comments. If someone were a mechanic, why would they be watching this video? They wouldn’t. Hence teaching the non-mechanic the conversion.
Well for an engineer I'd say he's a pretty darn good mechanic. Care to share your credentials?? Never mind, I'm sure that you are a self proclaimed "master mechanic" spreading your wisdom all over YT.
Order clutch slave here; www.superbikeunlimited.com/oberon-performance-ducati-panigale-twin-billet-clutch-slave-cylinder
Instructions…don’t need to read those of course. Lol your quick one liners always crack me up
Boom! And just like that the Animal is back! Thank you for the video!
Any time my friend.

Awww you and your bike in the Hollywood pic, how sweet! How long have you guys been a couple?
The Legendary Fancy Animal 👊
😂
I have a 2015 1299 and did the exact same thing after two years of bleeding clutch every few months. Since then it’s been perfect.
It’s a nice little quality product.
Wow! Here's a blast from the past. Where have you been, working on the Ducati? lol
I broke my back landscaping believe it or not. Cheers mate!
What a great channel! I miss our virtual rides together even though I have sold my Duck and bought an Ape. Wishing you the best.
Cheers mate! What model Aprilia?
"Cross-Pattern" on 3-screws is funny :D
Should do a 40 k mile review of the bike .
Almost at 50K now.
65k km DAMN! That bikes been ridden, love seeing the higher km super sports out there 🤙🏼
Mr Fancy Animal is there any Ducati forum you can recommend, please?

What's the reason you replaced it?

The LED display looks really modern .. is that newer than 2013 ? As in upgraded from a newer model bike if that's even possible ?
Great to see you back fancy , how many miles are on the beast now ? Ride safe 👍
He mentioned it in this video, 40k miles
Oh silly me cheers for letting me know 👍👍
I think I’m at 40300. Went to price out a V4…. $36,800 out the door in LA. The dealer will place the order with a credit card. Yikes.
@@FancyAnimal So when are you picking it up? 😃
Great ride and views. Thank you!
Cheers my friend!

Nice merch.
You dam engineers with your math skills changing standard to metric. lol. That was cool.
Well, metric is really the standard, everywhere else in the world uses it, including Italy where Ducati is from 🙂
he’s back?!!!? how’s the back doing fancy?
That kids annoying. Glad I dont have any kids. That was the best part of the video.
how many miles on the bike now?
Creeping up on 50,000. Been spending a lot of time on a pedal road bike, so not putting a ton of miles on the bike as before. Cheers!
Cheers for the vids
Cool
Fwiw - the oberon part doesn’t fit the Panigale V2.
I know. I bought one and had to send it back.
Yes, no V2 church slave part shown on the Oberon website… only 899, and 959. Did you get try Ducabike and Ducati?
Where we can order this part…?
Superbikes Unlimited. Below.

40K miles on a Panigale is quite impressive. Not that I doubt the Ducati engineering but it would have killed my back. 🤪
Please upload new videos
You are no mechanic if you need a calculator to figure out that 8 mil. and 5/16 are equivalent . That's shit is mechanics 101.
