  • In October 2023, Sam and I decided to camp at the Caddo Lake State Park, hoping to see some alligators that live in these bayous! What ensued was an incredibly memorable camping trip where we cooked some of our favorite Indian delicacies, canoed in 115F heat, rain tested our Gazelle camping tent and ate alligator meat! Yes, Alligator Meat!!! Tell us if you enjoyed this video and leave a comment if you have been to Caddo Lake State Park! Where would you like us to explore next?
#Campcurry is our Indian take at camp cooking in the State Parks of Texas. We are new devotees of camping and are absolutely in love with the beautiful state parks that this mighty state of Texas has to offer. While we camp responsibly, we always remember to leave no trace and be mindful of the forest and camping neighbors.

Planning on a summer trip out there when it will be hot. Curious question though. Over the last several years I have noticed many "Indian Campers" some in tents and some in campers. I work with many that reside in India and they never talk about it or any knowledge of it. Is that something you pick up and like in the US ?
