Hi ladies so glad to see your able to be out camping during this mess !I really enjoy your videos, you look hot just be pretty warm during this time there. Stay cool stay away from the gators lol and enjoy!
It must be nice to meet your subscribers. The best part of camping is meeting new and interesting people. Great review. Looking forward to your next review.
I absolutely love this video. So much great information. I'm looking forward to camping here come May. And its nice getting to know about a park before we arrive. Thank you!
This is the closet state park to us. Although it's not our favorite, we still like this park and would definitely recommend it! The RV campsites are wonderful, the cabins are awesome, and it just has a really cool atmosphere! Thanks for the review!
Welcome to Two Tired Teachers. We started this channel because when we were newbies, we couldn't find all the information we wanted in one place. We hope you find our channel helpful.
Thanks for posting this. I've been wanting to visit Caddo Lake for a while, but need to make the time for it. I understand it is Texas' only "natural" lake in that it is not man made. It is beaver made, or so I am told.
hello from the sunny ozarks milena and sharon!!! love that park and its close to my families. i havent seen any aligators there and caddo lake is one of texas natural lakes!! tight lines and grace be with you!!
Thx for the video! I recently researched this park. We are planning a winter trip to Texas from Minnesota with our Minnie Winnebago and thinking about making this our second stop on the way to Alamo.
You might want to look into Palmetto State Park. It's nearer San Antonio, and iit's a nice park. As you probably know, you will need reservations for Texas State Parks. Covid has changed some things, including the number of people allowed in the parks. If you are planning on being in Texas long and Texas State Parks are going to be where you stay, consider getting a Texas State Park Pass. It is $70 and pays for itself quickly.
Just found you on UA-cam. I'll be going to Caddo Lake State Park in July. I'll be tent camping. Can you tell me how hot it was at night? Also my campsite has water and electricity and I hope I'm not too close to the swamp..🙄. We're the mosquitoes bad? I'm 69 and never been camping so this is a new experience for me. I have made 3 reservations at Texas Parks... Guadalupe State Park, Caddo Lake State Park and Garner State Park. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Thanks for sharing your travels. 👍
Welcome to Two Tired Teachers. Take fans. With electricity you can easily run a fan or two. I usually get eaten alive by mosquitoes, but I don't remember them being really bad. If I were you, I'd take some Off or some kind of repellent. I don't think you will be near the water. I looked at a park map, and the campsites with water and electric are not very close to the water. I hope you thoroughly enjoy camping. Finally, please forgive me for taking so long to respond. We were on a month long trip, and I simply didn't see your comment.
The CCC was part of Roosevelt's attempt to get men back to work during the Great Depression. It is the Civilian Conservation Corps. During its 9 year existence from 1933 to 1941, it employed about 3 million men.
@@TwoTiredTeachers thank you very much! Just back home from this nice park. Was going to stay there 3 nights, but our 20 years old tent leak every where, our bed, clothes, especially the sleeping bags. Without sleeping bags, we even couldn't sleep in our car. But it was a wonderful trip!
I love the "Gator informaition". Do you ever tell use where you will be in 1-2 weeks on You Tube? What is a proper house warming present? Kroger gift cards?
Since we don't RV fulltime, usually we are at home. We sometimes tell you what videos are scheduled, Honestly, we don't want to announce when we will be away from home.
Been to 44 State Parks so far, I use your videos for reference a lot. Thank you so much!
I hope you've found some parks that are special to you.
Thanks for the info! Especially about the Gators! 😁🤙
We spent much of the summer traveling to parks that could have gators, yet we saw only one; it was at Huntsville State Park.

Cassie, we enjoy most of the places we visit.
Really nice looking park. Thanks for sharing!
It's very different from the other Texas State Parks we've seen.

It is so nice to meet subscribers. We were in South Dakota at the Badlands a few weeks ago and met subscribers from New York.
@@TwoTiredTeachers We're planning to go to the Badlands Summer 2021. Lets hope it works out.
Keeping a list of the parks you go to for my trip. Thanks for sharing.
Have fun!
Y’all are so cute, thank you for the information.
Our pleasure!

You are the second person to say that. Thanks for the info!
Good job on the video y’all I always enjoy watching y’all’s videos and appreciate y’all because classify teachers as heroes just like first responders

A guy who fishes there often said he has seen alligators at the park, but it's rare.

1st! You guys are getting pretty prolific on those bikes. : ) We don't go camping enough to warrant the expense of an e bike.
After over 1,200 miles, we are very comfortable on the bikes.

Love your videos. So much good information, One thing I would love to see is a map with the park location.
I will pass that along to Sharon. We do try to mention at least in the description where the parks are, but it would be nice to how it more clearly.
I have wanted to go just to see a gator but I guess maybe they are hard to find.
We saw one at Huntsville State Park.
What a great introduction! One question: What is the CCC stand for? Thank you very much!
The CCC was part of Roosevelt's attempt to get men back to work during the Great Depression. It is the Civilian Conservation Corps. During its 9 year existence from 1933 to 1941, it employed about 3 million men.
