My e46 has been driven 410k and m47tu still running perfectly, does not burn or leak oil or coolant. I kept it stock only removed egr and flaps. Then i also have e61 m57tu2 that i tuned following the darkside development's guide and can confirm the engine has a lot of potential, ofcourse running it 400hp shortens its life alot but for now its running perfectly.

If it rough idles then dies on start up, is it the fuel injectors? Rough idle has been happening for a while, usually restart after a long drive

👊🏻 yeah I wouldn’t say the best car out there nothing drives like a Porsche I think everyone know that’s no need to hide it or try and be blind to the fact of it. But practicality it’s good for my needs like I say I have my Porsches for my fun factor for fast thrilling ride I’m just excited to get my engine back in my 911 and drive it obviously we are comparing 100k mile car to a car with a newly built engine just not the same really especially as I overhauled every single thing. For others who don’t have the money to buy a Porsche it’s the best but as they say Porsches are for succesful people. Will this get used as much probably not as much as I hope summer is coming so I have my Porsches and my R1 so these cars are just run arounds to use all through winter , dogs obviously my Porsches are my prize possession that come to shows and tour other country’s with me the BMWs are just the usuable throw all the junk in the boot go to the tip take my dogs with me for recovery and crap it will probably be a wreck inside within a month 😄
Totally agree, we all have a use and reason for our favorite car no matter what it is. Enjoy both.
Correct indeed 👍 as I say I’m just fortunate to have both but if it’s that persons only car then hope they enjoy it’s full potential.
Hey Doc, just did your reset thing from 3 years ago.E46.Unhooked the battery joined the two leads together for a minute, turned the lights on and left it for fifteen minutes, then reconnect battery.
Started right up again on the key, still got the traction control light on , but now the windows won't work and the radio doesn't turn on..Any ideas whats wrong with it. ?

Hey, Dean, my BMW 525 I 2006. Computer screen for the I drive has shut off and has not come back on. Can you please help it came on for like five seconds a while ago and then shut right back off and hasn't turned back on since

AUTEL MAXISYS ULTRA TOOL BEFORE I GET ASKED. So got new dme, new frm etc.. Timing is done, vanos system, everything to bring new life to this car but the battery is now all programed (codes) and responding. I'm getting a crank no start on my n52 e92 coupe because I bought the original battery (new) and it's not charging fully. I have reprogrammed the car for the battery and my issue is when I try to run the reprogramming for the 90a H8 AGM it kicks it like it has no communication and leaving me with a 70% charged battery. Any ideas on how to bypass the programming or rather make it read and reprogram (even though it's recorded to the car) to make the alt recognize the 90amp bat and fully charge? Thanks guys. Lmk that's the last thing I'm sorting and I'm stuck. Appreciate any advice! Would love a response mate.

Porsches are gone I’m afraid bad times have hit 😔 I needed this car as I cant afford Porsches anymore.
What it does show is I’m able to come and go as I please as BMWs are very cheap to buy and as I said I can buy one at any time just like I have.

I want to import an e60 535d to the us so damned bad. They're exempt from the 25 year import rule, but only up to 09/2006 so I have to stick with the older m57d30tu and not the tu2.
