Thanks Luke! I bought 2 of the new 11 inch models. I already had purchased 3 of the fire 10 tablets. The new system, with added screen size, and hardware specs is a winner! The plug in keyboard is a deal maker! Being powered by the tablet rather than constant recharging is great! I sideloaded the Play Store and now it really rocks! Thanks Luke! Happy Holidays!
I'm thinking about getting a Kindle paper white or scribe. Would reading books on the Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet be just as good an experience as on those mentioned kindles? Or is there anything out there that is better for reading?
some people on amazon report dead pixels within months. I like the screen quality and easy to store files and access them. I could probably use this as my only computer in my house to be honest.
I actually do just that. My PC breathed it's lest breath in lat January 2024 and I never replaced it. It uses much less power, it's much cheaper and I can do everything I used my PC for. Now I didn't use my PC for anything too intense mind you.
Well considering it costs 3 to 5 times more? Yes, I expect the iPad would smoke the competition in terms of processing power. It's the king of tablets for a reason. However, the Fire Max 11 is quite impressive for the price tag all things considered, and that you can get a productivity bundle that includes the stylus, case and keyboard for the price of a basic iPad and yeah, it's definitely the better deal.
it depends what u need it for ... If your just watching content it's more than fine. If you are trying to use it to edit videos the iPad is faster and like 3x more money
If you buy the accessories it’s way more expensive. I know I may be way too late and you made your decision. My birthday is coming up. I’m looking into accessories too. All that adds up with Apple. Yet, if you want it for heavy work then it’s probably not for you. If you want for email, shopping, browsing, gaming should be fine. I want it for my birthday in late June.

RAM management takes a big hit when you sideload Google playstore. Fire os seems to be unable to optimize it and starts lagging.

Yes, but some apps I've tried to install like Google Calendar and Fallout Shelter dont work.
