I love Darren Bent’s way of thinking. He relies on stats and nuances to form an opinion. When he says it won’t stop until it makes financial sense, he is obsoletely right. Until the pockets of those rich fat scums at the top of la liga and Fifa are hit, nothing will change. Those in charge at the top do not take racism seriously because to them, it’s “normal”.

I also think more people need to know who Tebas really is, he is a supporter of a far-right party, the Vox party, the leader of whom just last year called for a Reconquista, aka, the expelling of muslims from Spain. When the president is a supporter of that party, change in Spain is hard to foresee.

People say Vini provokes but what happened vs Valencia has been happening since he was at Castilla. Goalie went to him to attack him, RM players defended Vini but another Valancia player holds him in a chokehold from the back, Vini finally gets out & swings his arm to get away or to defend himself after being choked for 10sec. He gets a red.
Since Castilla, he got fouled w/no intent on the ball & Vini puts his hand up at the ref asking for foul & maybe a card... while doing that, the guy that fouled him goes on to bite his head while ref 2meter away stares. That guy didn't get a yellow, never mind a red but Vini got a yellow for complaining. This has happened all of his career, that's why he's emotional & aggressive.

Dance celebrations after a goal, being animated etc are only a problem when Players of colour are doing it. No one had an issue with Peter crouch doing the robot dance when he scored for England and Tottenham. Everybody including myself enjoyed it. Vini could by right rip up his Madrid contract and walk. He’s protected from any sort of abuse in his workplace under EU law. The authorities can’t and won’t provide him with a working environment free from racial abuse so he could just leave and there’s not much Real or La Liga can do about it. I doubt it’ll happen but Real should absolutely walk off at the next incident, straight onto the bus and home

This is interesting because this is what John Barnes was trying to explain to Simon Jordan in their interview when he said there could never be a black Simon Jordan. I'm using Vine jr as an example to speak about someone who is at the top of their game and perhaps a bit cheeky but when Simon does it its found to be top level entertainment but when Vini does it hes winding people up and deserves racial abuse because of it...

I am also shocked the other black players on RM and Valencia did not walk off the pitch during the game. Who cares. Racism will always be in football as in daily life. Most fans are not racists. If you are paid that high of a wage to play football, learn to concentrate on the game and go buy a Ferrari to smooth your hurt feelings.
