How I Conceal My Acne With BareMinerals Original Powder Foundation
Today I am showing you this how to / tutorial on how to use the bareminerals original powder foundation to not look powdery. I like powder foundation for uneven / bumpy / acne-prone skin because I find powder works well with texture, and liquid works well with color. Mineral / powder foundation also feels more lightweight like my skin can breathe!
In my head, I like reaching for powder foundation also because powder seems less messy than liquid foundation to me. Anybody else?

I love this powder too, 4 years of doing STEM degree at uni killed my skin quality. Sometimes I know I *shouldn't cover* it with makeup, but to be honest I find that when I cover it with powder, the acne goes away quickly because I don't have that self-esteem/confidence drop every time I look in the mirror. Emotional state and stress seem to really affect my skin. Now I'm graduated it's clearing up more :) It's really annoying to find my perfect colour though because I'm half Asian x_X, but yours matches nicely.

Thank you for sharing this. I have pigmentations and redness too caused by acne from years ago. They are fading slowly but I need a natural foundation to cover them while they are slowly healing. We almost have the same skin. You've been really helpful. This will be my first time to try powder foundation. Just like what you've said, I'm tired of liquid foundations demanding too much from me lol. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This is the very first powder foundation I ever tried years ago. Although I found a lot more throughout the years that I love I feel like whatever powder foundation I use I still use bare minerals with it 😂 I was into liquid foundation for a while and I don’t know why because powder covers just as well if you do it right and it doesn’t take as long

You have such a beautiful face, don't let acne ruin it. I have the same problem with my face until I went to Heomapthy Dr. She told me not to eat dairy, sugar, and meat because all this stuff causes inflammation. Since I listen to her my skin has no more acne. She also instructed me to use Dermablend make up that cover all my imperfections.

Your skin is actually looking really good without foundation! I used to use Bare Minerals powder foundation in my 20's but as I got older it didn't sit right on my skin anymore. I have the JCat Aqua foundation in my backup drawer to try. One of these days I'll pull it out and try it. I used to love the NYX matte but not flat, but I find I'm sometimes in between the two lightest shades and it gives a weird bright reflective cast to my face. What ever the do to make it "not flat" is too much lol. I don't remember it being that way years ago. Oh well. Hope you're doing well and staying sane.

      Hi, Cindy.
