He seems to just play the intro and then a handful of the most impressive variations (and the variations are out of order, I might add for those who don't know the piece well). I uploaded a full video of him playing the Last Rose Of Summer which he performed about 3 years ago but he's not playing it with this much energy and fire in my opinion, but that maybe be because he's about 25 years older in the version I uploaded.
@@DevilViolinist This version is from an encore in 1999 after he played Tchaikovsky concerto. Then he played Summertime with clarinetist Giora Feidman and his band. The summertime is on youtube just type "Vengerov summertime". This is all part of the Vengerov Revelation era, the 90's and early 2000!!! He is still amazing and not past the prime but after he came back from sabbatical his playing style is more on the "cautious" side compared to how he was in the 1990s. But here and there he has his youthful energetic moments. Right now he is a well established legend of the violin who has already played with all the greatest orchestras and at the most famous festivals. Everyone knows about his playing style so he has already shown what he brings to the table as far as violin playing is concerned!!! Now he has a family, kids, conducts, teaches more often, is involved in many causes and competitions. So his attention is not just 100% on solely playing violin anymore.

A lot of coordination and slow practice, it becomes easier, just like pianists playing polyrhythms in right hand and Left Hand
