@@Jervenshmine PFFT!!! No offense to Scott, he's awesome as a bassist and as a dude, but the poor guy has been in Weezer for 23 years and has yet to play on _one_ solid album all the way through. @@beyondthehorizon75 I was quoting the weezer snl sketch lol But yeah no blue and pinkerton are the best albums by weezer. I don't fully agree though, I like a few of their later albums. They've also had a few good singles, (Keep Fishin', If You're Wondering if I want you to (I want you to), The Greatest Man that Ever Lived, etc.) but that's just my opinion, I know a lot of people that only like blue and pinkerton, and I won't disrespect their opinions
Check out the most recent Rentals album Q36. It's different to all other releases of theirs, but that's because Matt is a true artist. He is always evolving, and growing and challenging himself. Weezer have been complete crap since Matt left.
There were two weezer records and a whole bunch of solo rivers records with some of the the same original band members. Don’t care for weezer post Matt very much. They’re ok, but the greatness left with Matt. Not sure what this video is trying to show with the same clips over and over.
@@uncarbonatedcola9190Are you Rivers or something? Fact is that Weezer got progressively worse with every album after Matt left/was booted. Rivers was better when Matt was there…period.
Not at all, my dude -- you're twisting history to fit your point-of-view. Weezer made some pretty fantastic albums since his departure. Matt Sharp himself said the discography wouldn't have changed if he continued playing for the band.
@@tak-pa3134 Weezer hasn’t made anything of note since Pinkerton. And Matt Sharp saying that is a major dig at Rivers, if you are having trouble reading into it.
@@jon4715 Well: you directly related his departure to the alleged decline in quality of their music, even though Matt himself said otherwise. Dig or not. ...and to say they haven't done anything notable since "Pinkerton" is very much a lie. Both "White" and "EWBAITE" are essential Weezer albums -- even though they're pretty new.
