L320 mate. The L is in reference to Left Hand Drive. Other 320 models were U(double cab), V(van or station wagon), or N(Sport/El Camino style bed). The L, and NL were the only models that came into North America. Right Hand Drive models would be 320, or N320, U320, V320. It appears you have the exact same combination as me.....a very early 1965 model, equipped with the ‘64 grill/turn signals, but also with the 1965 only floor shift transmission. Mine is L320000291, and I expect yours is very close to that number as well. Same red colour, same door mirrors, etc
Just noticed your rockers are gone too, haha. yeah, the rot's gotten to the cab mounts so I've gotta do something about it, LF fender was smashed in and badly pulled back out, right side of the box got dragged on something, and the tailgate got pushed in. A parts truck if there ever was one, too bad I can't find a nicer one for sale now.
Yeah they come up on Craigslist and Ebay every now and then, just got to look for then. 4 of my cab mounts are rusted out just the two front ones left. Might weld new metal in sometime to fix them.
God there were two non working 59's both for 3,000 they were from the first ten shipped to the states to test the market for compact trucks, I regret not buying them.
To be honest, the 320 series Datsun/Nissan trucks weren't the most prettiest trucks out there. I favor the 521 series the best, then the 620 series trucks to.

Esta chida!!
Would a Honda engine fit in that pickup?
Yes definitely but I would swap in a nissan engine to keep with the brand
You need an engine thats coming out of a rwd vehicle though. A civic or accord engine isn't gonna work
Is it for sale?
