Hello 😊 I tried the flour parsad recipe last week for Saraswati Jayanti puja and the result was incredible! It was my very first time making parsad and as a beginner in the kitchen, I was quite worried. However, Ria's recipe and guidance proved to be comforting and encouraging and the recipe was a SUCCESS! Will definitely be trying the other versions in the future. This recipe is a keeper. If you are trying to decide on a parsad recipe, try this one. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much, Ria. Love and blessings to you and everyone else 🙏🏻💖🙏🏻
I made my prasad...Your recipe was soooo perfect...👌👌👌I tried the soji n flour one...followed ur recipe al the way...thus one is a keeper...💯💯💯👌thank You... soooo much RIA.. ❤❤❤💖💖🙏🇿🇦
My sweet daughter who pass seven months ago, use to watch your style of cooking, and I watch because of her now. Thank for sharing it made her happy she was very good in the kitchen as well.
Thank you for sharing and watching my videos. Sorry to hear about your sweet daughter and may God give you the strength to cope with your pain. God bless. 🌸💕
Although I learned to cook Trinidadian food a long time ago I still check out cooking shows but must say my POV the 2 best I've seen and tried so far are Ria and Mathew guyanese cooking Thanks to you both as I learned different variations to the foods I like.
Hey! I tried the mixed version of the parsad and it was really very good! I used Swad Sooju, flour from Costco and Nanak Ghee and followed the measurements and directions exactly 😁 it turned out just the way my mom makes it at home! Thanks for another great recipe Ria!
As a child many many moons ago I would attend prayers at my neighbour's...I looked forward to the parsad....because it was not too sweet....and OF COURSE the meal.....thank you for invoking such fond memories
I have tried different recipes for this and none tasted as great as Ria's. I promise you... It the best. NOTE: don't tweak it... It may look wet but trust me once you follow it.. You'll be smiling like I do👍💯😃 My favorite is the cream of wheat 😍💕
Thank you Ria for this recipe. It’s the “Best”. I have tried recipes from other various Trini cooking videos but my parsad never came out good. However, I must compliment you on this recipe.. Thank you!!
I was looking for a halwa recipe..n God is so good ..I found u.ur recipe is soooo perfect..I'm realy going to enjoy making prasad with confidence..thank you 🙏🙏🙏🇿🇦💖💖
Hi Ria you asked me for my version of parsad what my husband and myself we hot the ghee add the flour half way through i would add the elichi ginger raisins and marshino cherries then I will add the milk and water after I will add the sugar last and mixing until it’s finished and it’s taste delicious that everyone even in the temple asked us to make parsad for them so this is how we make our parsad have a blessed week bye.
Joanna Ramnarine Thanks for your positive feedback! Cow Brand Ghee is very expensive here in NY ! My Hubbie paid $13 for one of those small tins. This was a very expensive recipe to test. Made it 5 times in one week to make sure the result was perfect and consistent every time! 😂 Which brand did you use ?
@@CookingWithRia I live in NY also but couldn't find it in my neighborhood. I know where I can but didn't want to venture out that day. I used Carrington farms which I found at Target
Thanks , I have seen people make parsad before but I didn't know the details . Now I know , but I probably won't make any because it tastes so delicious that I would eat too much .
Hi Ria my version of parsad is a little different from yours but it’ looks delicious i want to wish you all the best for the future and keep making delicious recipes for divali bye.

Hello ria I tried parsad yesterday during quarantine time lord I think I ate to much . felt a two lbs going on but who cares it was delicious. Had to try it cause while I watched your video I swear I was smelling yours cooking. Got plenty of encouragement from the two gremlins at my side. They raided the kitchen to find the ingredients. Seeing that my making parsed will not be for a religious occasion could I add almonds along with the raisins .we are not Hindu and we love almonds, but do not want in anyway to do disrespect to the "food of the gods". Thank you god bless.
anjo ferguson LoL sounded like a scene from my household. Yes you can add both-Slivered or chopped almonds-would be great lightly toasted in butter or ghee first. Enjoy and sending love to the gremlins. 💕🙈😀👍😋
Nice work Ria. Happy diwali to you and everyone viewing. I wont be trying out this ricipe for some time i am not celebrating divali this year my husband recently passed away. I.pormise to let you know when i try it what i think. Enjoy your divali until next time.
