I am now 75 yrs old, and can no longer do what you are doing. 20 yr ago I built my garage, 30ft x 40ft, 2 stories, mostly by myself. I used the same step-by-step engineering approach as you. I enjoy watching you solve your problems to reach your goals. If you don't have the big machines, you can still do the job. It just takes more time and more thinking. Bravo!
Watching your videos has become my daily routine since the day one. There's something special in your videos. Its an eternal epiphany for me. I've been suffering from Chronic depression and feels lonely all the time. By watching u guys, I feel the love and care.. its like you're ma family.. Especially my little Cutie Pie 'Iver' makes my day 😘😘😘 I love you guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Best Wishes For Days Ahead 😘😘😘 Love from US😍
Oh, I have been watching this family from outside if Holland Michigan. Their son Iver is adorable. My son is 6 ft 8 now but I remember him as the "green eyed little blonde he is but all grown up. Good luck to these people in Northern Holland. I just had a house fire and burned most everything one cannot replace. It is okay though, things will turn around. s.
I am quite impressed with your use of old techniques and your friends and wife who help you out so well. I know this vlog is a year old, but now I have to find how to do "binge" watching from the beginning. I wish I spoke Swedish --- your use of English is amazing----but by knowing Swedish, I could hear the inside jokes.
You both (all) work so hard that it makes me feel guilty sitting here watching you from my warm home on the coast of Mexico. I love hearing the Swedish! I reminds me of my great-grandfather who immigrated from Jonkoping in 1894. He always called me, his first great-grandchild, his Svenska flicka.
Love it. Your living is, seriously like, the way of life. You guys are so handy and really know how to take care of yourselves. I wish I knew that kind of stuff.
"Safety first..... people!" Haha that got me. Just found your channel and decided to start watching from the very beginning. It's awesome to see how you guys live and all the work you. Things are rough but you guys keep making your lives better with hard work. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I wish I had found you guys at the very beginning. Cheers!
I absolutely loved this one - I just found you guys today, I can't stop watching. You lovely people have made some very cool choices in this life and these projects. Well done. I can't wait to see more.
WOW...WHAT HEALTHY EATING! You seem gourmets! Perhaps a slice of 'dark Belgium/Swiss' chocolate to add a pound or two to your lean frames. You NEED it for alllllll the hard work you do. The both of you seem to be perfectionists...don't overdo it! You have done AMAZING work already...truly lovely workmanship...but it does not need to be done overnight. Steady, but easy does it! Isn't it a blessing to have LOTS of moisture rather than a dry, dusty climate. I sometimes get 'overwhelmed' by all the work I have to do as a widow, with a small character home in Canada, I find that doing a little, is better than nothing some days. God Bless!
You really know how to enjoy the simple things. Great episode! Waiting for the new and fresh one. In my region it's hay harvesting time. Best wishes and good luck!!
Wow, I was longing for a video of you and I found this video made 5 yrs ago! I didn't know that you worked on your new house for soooo many years... You are SUPER courageous!!! Nice to see the difference in time! 🥰💖✨
Hope you guys have a happy and Prosperous New Year and of course the whole year through. And congrats on the coming blessed event. I can only hope that parenthood will bring you guys as much joy as it brought my wife and I.
I am a subscriber and just found this one today. A repeat of the early days is required and would give you guys a lot more future subscribers. I hope you read this. Fantastic stuff.
The amount of chopped ginger in those omelet, OMG! I bet your tummy feel warm after the meal. Youb can crush ginger and boil with water with some sugar is good drink in cold day.
I am absolutely loving your videos!!! Watching them relaxes and somehow grounds me - thank you so much for all your effort! Great filming and editing, both you guys! And thanx to Mose, too! :) 19:01 "We're doin' this for the drama!" HAHAHAHA :D I was crackin' up, guys!!!! So hilarious!
We just started watching you and your baby. Yesterday I went back to the beginning. I've had small ranches with horses and know the work, but that was in the warmth of California. I respect your efforts!! About the front room where you leave coats and shoes, I would call it the front entryway. A mudroom is usually not the main entrance.
I think that this has got to be your best video yet (not to say your other videoes weren't good). I appreciate the English narration, but like hearing you speak to one another in your native tongue. It was nice to meet Mose. I will pay a visit to his site.. Thanks. Be blessed and be safe.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We appreciate the support :) It was fun to edit with two camera angles, Mose had a gopro camera and he gave us the material from that camera.
I am impressed on the notch you cut to set the roof beam. I just finished watching an old video about as old as this one from a youtube channel call Townsend and sons. John Townsend and friends built a small log cabin like they did in the 1700's here in the United States. And they were doing it like you are.
Having a good team is the best, amazing. Your young but you have the ability to do that.. Subscriber from philippines 🇵🇭 love your channel and I can’t wait to see the baby 👶.. Godbless you..
I am going to go to the Superior Hiking Trail near Grand Marais, Minnesota. Many immigrant Swedes and Norwegians settled on the shores of Lake Superior the largest fresh water lake in the world. They were fishermen and lumberjacks, woodworkers, etc. I think you would like it!
Wow! You guys eat so healthy. You don’t even need to go to gym for exercise. You open your door and viola! They’re is ton and ton of work to be done on the farm. You guys will probably outlive most of us. Lol.
Awesome! It feels good when those logs would fit in place perfectly after doing all that heavy lifting work. When Moses said it was coffee time but there wasn't any coffee or it was only his wishful thinking at that time ;)
@@Talasbuan This is another winter now so I hope you guys might have snow at your place; but ahh I did not have any yet this year. I would love to see another one. What happened to that building you guys were putting those roof beams? Was that the near to current living place or somewhere else?
I envy your lifestyle. I know what is hard work, so all of my respect is yours. You are a lovely couple.I always wanted to be involved in the construction of a log house, but I live so far away from you that I cannot offer my help....great videos btw
Amazing place with amazing couple.I really love this videos that I've have never seen before..super I love it!! ""im new here your vedios..and I love to see your videos all!:-)
You guys probably never have any problem sleeping tnrough the night! 🤣.... Lots of hard work, house looks amazing! I bet your head hits the pillow and you pass out!😜😴😴😴😴

It's amazing how watching so much hard work can be so relaxing :) I think the world would benefit from your pace. Thank you. Rich
I totally agree! :)
I LOVE how your dogs hide under the bed! They look so content and warm.
and the cats too!😏
I love the fact that you all are totally cool with reading during a meal.

So much tenderness in simplicity.
That is a huge task, good to have some help, good to get these jobs done when you are young and able.
If we get them done while we are young ;)
Awesome guys. You work hard in cold conditions. But your work will pay off in the end. Keep it up.
Thank you! :)
Great team work - that is going to be a lovely cabin.
Yes! I look forward to sit in front of the fire and read a good book :) /Mathias

Thank you for your kind words, and im sure you know a lot of handy things. Good to know a little about a lot :D All the best! /Tova

You are so inventive . I am always mesmerised watching you tackle all these things in such a smart way while learning. I love watching.
Still a lot of snow but you can see and “feel” the warmth of spring in the video with your energy. Good work and gymnastics getting the beam up.
Thank you! :) spring is arriving for sure! But it just snowed another 10 cm :(
Wow, good job! Your english is very good, by the way. Your home is going to be amazing and one you can take such pride in, as you made it!
You're a perfectionist in every thing that you do. Even cooking.
Loves watching the Three of you building that cottage, so good to watch,? Thanks fir sharing your video ❤️👍❤️

This is a perfect video!!! Great filming skills!!!
Hard work. Love hearing Swedish even if I don't understand it just sounds beautiful.
I'm completely impressed with your work!Thank you
Wow! It's just like living it with you! It's coming together wonderfully!
Respect !! You make this so good. It's amazing. Thanks for sharing this.
Modern Vikings, long live old traditions and Scandinavian history!
I don't think they're vikings since I doubt they've ever been on a raid. Or even a pillage.
I was so scared for you when you were up there with that chain saw!! Amazing though.
The amount of chopped ginger in those omelet, OMG! I bet your tummy feel warm after the meal. Youb can crush ginger and boil with water with some sugar is good drink in cold day.
In the middle of a binge watching session. I’m glad I ate first, your cooking looked so good. Hi from Canada.

Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate them, it feels so good that our blogs can give such feelings :D
Great to see people not using machines! Love this! subbed!
It's a little tricky but you can solve most of what you need to do without machinery :) /Mathias
It is so beautiful there!
In the end it is therapeutic to be able to say "we did it ourselves"!
Another great video. Thank you so much for sharing. The house is coming along well. Getting the ridge pole up was a big step. Very nice.
Thanks! :) Yes, it feels good to be building again! :)
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WAY OF LIFE YOU ALL HAVE
Mose: “we doing this for the drama”
Well, I definitely was holding my breath! 🤣

My dad was a carpenter and used to say don't push the nail in but "nail it" 😁

Very difficult work but you made it look easy with your step by step team work. Great job.
Thank you, it's all about the teamwork we have noticed 😁
Respect you guys! 'We're doing this for the drama' - really though, I was watching this at the edge of my chair...
Bet you can't wait to move in. Really fun to watch it come along.
Looking forward to it immensely !
Interesting to see your progress without using big machinery, nice job! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! Yes, it's a challenge to come up with ways to do things when you got no money :)

WoW That was a HEAVY & AWESOME Job! Good work All of you guys. P.S. The English word for wet snow is "Slush".
Your videos are amazing! So encouraging to get out and do something.
Watching you set that beam was both interesting and a little scary!
I wish I could have been there to help you shovel. It would get me in shape for backpacking season. :)
Thank you, your help would have been appreciated, hopefully the spring are upon us and the snowing will cease now :) What are your backpacking plans?

That is so cool you made a snow bench
what a beautiful place
Excellent knife and culinary skills. Looks delicious.
So sweetly made is the meal shared ❤️
That looked so dangerous!!!! Hurray some of the roof is up. GOOD JOB .
You're right. That was dangerous in many ways. Would not be allowed on an official construction site. But they got it done and I am proud of them.
Laborious! Congratulations!
The safety officers watching this have had a major heart attack 😂😂😱😱
My thoughts exactly!
It is amazing your work and life..I am so happy that i found your channel..I wish you be happy!
Wish you the same!
Wow healthy food you guys eats it’s amazing
Thank you 😍
What a interesting garlic you’ve got there!
Enjoyed so much!!!
Matthias giving true meaning to my husbands favourite saying about building - you can do anything with a big enough hammer. 😂👍👏🌟
Wow! You guys eat so healthy. You don’t even need to go to gym for exercise. You open your door and viola! They’re is ton and ton of work to be done on the farm. You guys will probably outlive most of us. Lol.

That is Life! More power to you! (the rest is a PAIN).
Brilliant photography
Awesome! It feels good when those logs would fit in place perfectly after doing all that heavy lifting work. When Moses said it was coffee time but there wasn't any coffee or it was only his wishful thinking at that time ;)
We got some coffee stowed away somwhere for the guests :)
