I play woods and hybrids but I love this wedge. The thing is a magic wand lol. I have a 48 degree one. Spider Dubiel

CBX wedge is an interesting club but despite the sound idea behind it, suitability may depend on what is the main use for you: full shots or touch shots around the green. For me it is too light headed for my taste around the greens. I play Srixon Z565 irons @ D2 swingweight and a rule of thumb is 4 to 6 swingweights heavier for wedges so D6 to D8. I have a 56 degree RTX-3 wedge @D5 that is only just heavy enough, a 58 degree specialty wedge at D8 swingweight and a 50 degree CBX wedge @ D3 swingweight which just feels too light chipping and short pitches - I need to feel the head more. Feels good though on full shots. My solution: a little lead tape to bring it up to D4 worked well enough - still gave me a good feel for full shots with the cavity back benefit of forgiveness and face speed but a little better head feel around the greens. It is a compromise for me that still favours full shot usage which is the key reason I have the club. BTW, be aware that the ball comes off the face hotter than a blade wedge when chipping and again, that is not to my taste. In conclusion, with the modification, I am happy with the club for my main use - full shots (so stays in my bag) but rarely use it for touch shots. I guess its almost impossible to have the best of both worlds.
