At least 48 senior doctors and faculty members of the RG Kar Hospital submitted a mass resignation letter and those at two other State-run facilities threatened a similar move, in support of the junior medics who have been observing an indefinite hunger strike since last week, demanding justice for their colleague, who was raped and murdered.

Sanjeev Gosh was the main culprit in this heinous crime, but now judges had shift the crime to Sanjay Roy. He is not the main culprit .

The CBI diluted and reduced the credibility of the investigation by rejecting the gangrape allegation which once again proves that CBI is a cage-bird of the regimes. All these the CBI is doing to save the suspended Sandip Ghosh and the officials of this corrupt mafia govt of West Bengal. It's a clear apprehension of the mind and understanding that the top brass ministers are deeply involved in this matter. WELL DONE DOCTORS !

Barkha, I don't know whether u hv witnessed any movement where the beneficiary is not the guys who r on hunger strike but the public in general. It's so unfortunate that National media is not interested in this story and every literate person in WB knows what is the condition of the state in every sphere , be it Health , Education, law & order etc. But since Political opposition is in disarray there is free run for the present dispensation along with the help of state machinery & money. The state was supposed to give them a SOP for implementation of the demands but instead cheated them and only restricted them to verbal assurance. I know every Modi haters like our CM to continue & that's why no comments from Rahul & team , Kejriwal & likes but interestingly even Modi or Amit Shah has refrained from commenting on this issue. I had been to this site where they r fasting, hv seen the anger with the people who gathered there but politicians r winning. It is extremely frustating . When will Nation understand our pain
