Thank you this very helpful although I'm a little confused why it would ask kilometres, driver and other data when filling up. Is it asking how many kilometres worth of fuel I want? Are these questions always asked at fuel pumps?
For anyone reading this, I went to a self-serve pump near to Malpensa airport and I just had to insert a card, enter my pin as normal, select which pump I was at and then fill up as much as I wanted. I didn’t need to enter anything about kilometres of fuel etc
When I insert my card it has been deducted 100€ before even I made the tank full .. I saw in the screen it was 60 €.. I don’t know why they took all this amount from my account
@@muneereshaq3246 did the machine pre-authorise €100 just in case you spent that much but instead charged you afterwards for what you actually used i.e. €60?
How to procede it I need a full fuel tank? I dont want to opt for liters or amouth of th emoney because I simply want to have a full fulel tank? Is there an option just to insert the card and poure as until it "clicks"?
This is the way how it works: 1. Insert debit/credit cart into machine and type your PIN. 2. The system reserves 103 euros from your account. 3. Fill the tank to the full (or the quantity you want). 4. Put back the pouring-hose to the machine. 5. The system charges your account to the summ you filled the tank and canceles reserved 103 euros.

Will it stop filling on its own when your tank is full like in this US?
@@thunderwhale17 Yes it does, the pump will cut off once when you fill the tank, and cut off again once you fill the pipe going to the tank
