We were SO locked in! THE FEEL BAD FINALE OF THE YEAR! But an instant classic! Are yall down with a Joker show? Personally we'd love to see another villian get the spotlight...Check www.Patreon.com/SeanTanktop to watch the UNCUT Full reaction for tons of stuff in 2025 for only $8 RIGHT NOW!
Most of us knew Vic probably wouldn’t make it out of the season- but damn. I didn’t think it would be like that, by Oswald, while I’m watching his shoes scuff on the ground as he’s begging for life.
What Oz did was unforgettable and unforgivable. It's true what Oz said to Vic: "Sometimes family can make you strong, but sometimes, it can make you weak. I can't let happen, Vic, not this time, not ever."
Morgan is the first reactor I've seen who understood that Oz was speaking to himself when he told Sofia she would never know peace. Glad someone finally got that. Sofia is actually human. Oz isn't. She doesn't kill unless she has to; she let Vic live when she took Oz's mother. Meanwhile Oz kills Vic because it's convenient. For Oz people, including his mother, only exist to serve whatever needs he has. Sofia on the other hand grew up terrified of her father and entirely under his thumb, because part of her always knew what he was and what he did. Everything she did was to stay on his good side out of more fear than love. And with him gone, even after being driven mad after a decade of torture, she eventually chose to leave all of the violence and death behind. There's no comparison between her and Oz.
I mean Sofia still did horrible things. She ain’t remotely innocent lol. Her backstory is really messed up, but honestly I think because of that she has kind of deluded her self into thinking all her actions are justified. The perfect example being when she goes to see Gia at the children’s home and attempts to gaslight her. She thinks she is just a victim, but in her quest to get back those who wronged her, she did some awful shit and became just like the other bad guys in many ways.
I hate Oswald but I love Colin’s performance. I feel so bad for Francis since this is not what she wanted to be in a vegetative state. Oz didn’t fulfill his promise to kill her. I cried when Sofia was back in her own hell.
@@MrFredstt He didn't fulfil his promise because it was never about her, it was always about what he wanted. He'd say "what you wanted" but it was only ever his own greed and ego. HE wanted her in the penthouse so that's what she gets, even if it's against what she wanted.
Great reaction! When asked why he thought some fans were kind of rooting for Oz, Colin Farrell answered, "no one will be rooting for him after episode 8".
And remember, his mom told him if her mind goes before her body, to put her out of her misery, instead, he keeps her in it. Sigh😢 Graciela literally told him nothing good could come from working with a guy like Oz, too. And remember when Oz first met Vic too, he told him he would keep him alive, "for now". He just kept gassing Vic up about it's all about them and history would be kind to them etc, and the sad part about it is, Vic had the chance to leave and came back. His death hit me in a way I never felt for any character on any show. You knew it was coming and it still hurt 😭
Oh man, you guys had my favorite Penguin season finale reaction by far. Some incredible face journeys in this one! I was extremely impressed that a spin-off of a PG-13 comic book movie had one of the most disturbing finales I've seen in a very long time.
I guess I'm too detached when I watch shows in the sense that when I watched Frank Underwood in House of Cards for example, I wanted him to succeed. Same with Walter White in Breaking Bad. When he killed the young man, It was sad for sure but at the same time I was giddy and almost smiling because I was realising that Oswald was ascending to super-villain statue, letting all the good in him take the back seat. No more playing the victim so people feel pitty for him, he was finally revealing his true face. And then when he showed up with the suit I was smiling that the Penguin officially became the Penguin.
I have to agree that I’m not really interested in what they’re trying to do with Joker. There are so many other interesting villains in the Batman universe, some we’ve never even seen in live action.
"The Batman Part II" is going to have so much more bulk to the story if you watch this mini-series first. Honestly, I liked "The Penguin" MORE than "The Batman". I'm hoping "The Penguin is renewed for a second season. Btw, best actor goes to Colin Farrell, my 🎩 is off to you
Oswald Cobb, an out of shape man with a bum leg, after surviving an explosion, a blow to the head with a baton and a stab wound in the stomach, breaks free of his restraints, overpowers a healthy, fit man, crack-shots several more, and carries a fully grown woman over his shoulder and RUNS out of the club And they say this universe is grounded in reality lol
This shows most people don't read comics because this the Penguin in most stories 😁. Penguin: Pain and Prejudice, Tom Kings Penguin 2024 run and One Bad Day :Penguin Check them out.
@@SeanTanktop Hey bud we can have different opinions there's no need for insults. Maybe I'll vote dem next time if they nominate a serious candidate. Keep up the vids fatty, proud of you.

Personally, I'm ready for villains other than Joker to get the limelight for awhile. I think a Mr Freeze in this universe could go so hard
@@system0fadowner251 yes Mr Freeze show please! Or really anyone other than Joker lol
I’m ready for two-face to have the spotlight
Its joker fatigue in this mf especially after the absolute debacle that was Folie a DEEEEUUUUUUx

I thought it was gonna be Sofia tbh
My heart broke 💔 for vic. I was hoping for the best but expected the worse. Can't wait for Batman to serve Penguin some vigilante justice.
What Oz did was unforgettable and unforgivable.
It's true what Oz said to Vic:
"Sometimes family can make you strong, but sometimes, it can make you weak. I can't let happen, Vic, not this time, not ever."
Everyone received their own personal hell.
Soooooooo true
This is the show of the year which I definitely didn't expect. Just great from start to finish.

if its anyone that can write the joker its these guys. let them do all the batman villains with the same complex writing
Sssssssshure, but let’s build up to it. Poison Ivy, two face, Jason, Hugo, Mr freeze, …. But really f the Joker. Honestly I’m good.
Mf Penguin Wick cut away🤣🤣🤣
John Wick: Penguin-abellum

I wonder if he didn't fulfil his promise bc of what she said to him then stabbing him

I’m just godd*mn over it. There’s so many others. Them greenlighting the Flanagan Clayface movie is a sign of that
Love this show so much. This finale was emotionally packed
Oz's girl is supposedly a gender bent Clayface. Her last name is Karlo.
Would be cool. And if you're gonna make a realistic Clayface this would be the way to do it
The beginning of the episode sounded like a Joker 2019 score
This Penguin is more vile than the Joker.

it’s kinda earned: Oz’s first lines in the show told us what he’d fight the hardest for, and it was the legend(s) he wrote for himself, not his mom
Ya I think it was definitely meant to be a sort of “hysterical strength” moment for him due to the emotions of the situation

Read 2 of those; love the smugness of this post tho. Rare on the internet, thanks so much!
Hey, the Trump analogy was the first thing i thought of this episode.
